It's a common last name, like 1. Smith 2. Johnson 3. Williams 4. Jones 5. Brown, etc.

Kim would be the most used Korean surname. Park would be third.

Park is just like Smith or Jones in the US. It is a very common last name. I wouldn't say "most" Koreans have it as a last name but many do.

Funny you noticed I worked with a guy named Mr. Park from Korea. He came to set up a machine from Korea we bought at the plant I work.

I think its a tie between Park, Lee and Kim. I used to work for a town in NJ and just about every tax bill was addressed to one of those names. They have a question and call and say "I'm Mr Park..." and I'd be like "That doesn't help me, just give me your address."

don't most of them have the last name "Lee" ???
I've never known them to have the last name "park"
