I'm not with gay marriage but I am not against it I really don't care if gay people get married or not although I don't want God angry. Also I am very protective over myself. Also I have friends that agree with me and really don't care about what gay people do. But also why are gay people offended when people say "Being gay is a sin"? although it does say that clearly in the Holy Bible. Do gay people think that just because people say that they are gay bashers and Christians? Some of these following questions came from my friends and some from me.

I found it! HOMOSEXUALITY IS A SIN Well, at least according to certain verses in the Bible. Three passages to be exact comes from a story in Genesis. In Chapter 18 of the Bible. Corinthians 6:9-10, both written by the Apostle Paul. He offers a list of sins that will keep a person out of Heaven. Among them is homosexual behavior. Every one who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery." "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor sexual perverts, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God."
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. "
Matthew 7:1-2
Also some Christians are making a mockery out of my savior Jesus!

As like I said some Christians make a mockery out of my savior Jesus Christ! For God loves gay people but does not love the sin. For if gay people don't go to Heaven he does not laugh. So this will pretty much clear up the air between which side is right. And of course Scream wins again!

On the one hand, I must applaud your apathy. You're not gay, you're not directly involved, so you don't care. Gays marrying doesn't affect you. It doesn't take anyting away from you. I'm sure you sleep a lot better than people who get worked up about it.
Now then, when folks say, "being gay is a sin" it isn't well received because being gay feels to us like being straight feels to you. supposed you were told loving the ladies was a sin? I know gay folks who think that way, and it bothers them. Loving who we feel like loving is a sin?
Now then, is it a sin. some folks read the bible to say it is. Some do not. How can they disagree? well, you tell me, is the bible clear on everything? My mom was raised Baptist, and she was raised to never dance, and rock music, like Elvis, was the devil's music. Elvis? I've read an breakdown on the bible that says it's not a sin. Did you know that the common words from most marriage ceremonies from bride to groom were spoken in the Bible between Ruth and Naomi?
Folks disagree about a lot of stuff, and most things get ignored. Can you be friends with a Jewish person? I am. Same god, but Jesus isn't the messiah in his church. we disagree, but I don't throw it up in his face everytime I see him. He's Jewish. I won't change him. I'll just let him be, and enjoy him as a person.
Some people are different, and you have the right attitude.

It is not a sin. I am sorry you and your friends have been brainwashed by people who have perverted what the bible says to suit what they want it to say. We are all born this way. Just as you are born straight.

Edit:
Feel free to contact me through my profile with any scripture you think is against homosexuality and I will send you the literal translation from the Greek or Hebrew so that you will know the truth.

Edit II
No you are right the holy bible as it was written originally was Gods holy word. As it has been interpreted it is not
Learn Greek and Hebrew kid and then come tell my about how perfect your version of the bible is.

Final Edit:
God I feel like an idiot you won kid you got me to believe you actually wanted knowledge instead of giving the hate mongers a forum for spewing their filth. Excuse me your bias is showing. How many of the hate mongers are your little friends coming on to screw it to the ***** LOL

May you have three children
May one of them be male born gay
May one of the be female born lesbian
May the last one be transgendered and have a sex change thereby guaranteeing that you will not be able to further increase your genealogy.

The Bible was written a LONG time ago. If you are Christian, look for ANY place that Jesus mentions homosexuality. You won't find it. Jesus says that you are a new creation, that if you love God and believe in him, you will be saved. In his acts and works Jesus always looked for the people who were on the fringe of society and included them.

The ancient Old Testament talk of homosexual acts (And by the way Paul in the New Testament was talking about what he knew of the Old Testament scholars) talked about abusive sex. In the story of Sodom, the Sodomites performed violent gang rape on strangers. The other mentions of homosexual acts were mostly about older adult men abusing young boys.

There was no concept in their civilization about how men could love men or women could love women in a respectful and honest way. There was no real word for "homosexual" as a noun.

The Old testament, that same Leviticus 18 you're talking about, tells us we cannot wear clothing made of different fibres, but we do that every day today. Divorce? No! We can't even eat meat the second day after it was killed. There goes leftovers. No planting two crops in the same field, get rid of your garden. That stuff was all written for a purpose that fit the needs of God's people thousands of years ago.

But GOD is not dead. He is still speaking, and through his Son Jesus Christ, the single commandment is to Love your Lord God, and your neighbor as yourself.

I agree with you some "Christians" make a mockery out of God and I am sick of it. Although it does say in the Bible it is a sin and all of those following sins you've listed that's their life! It's not mine I really don't care if they do what they do! As long as it doesn't hurt me or anyone else! Also racists also think that Jesus would turn everyone white.

Do me a favor and give me the exact words from your bible that says being gay is a sin. I want the book, the verse, everything. And is it just pure back luck that you "lost" the page its on? I've heard many people say that it says in the bible that being gay is a sin...but I've never seen anyone back it up with proof. Be the first one to do it.

Throughout time the bible has been used to condone and condemnn everything from Inquisition to slavery to burning witches at the stake. Its a shame that a religious book that is supposed to be about love and understanding can have the words twisted by those who wish to only spread hate.
When you are looking for those passages that condem everyone can you also find the ones that speak of love and understanding?

While I admire your honesty, I pity your ignorance. Not everyone believes what you believe. Simply because you read something in a book doesn't mean it's right. I mean, I could claim "Huckleberry Finn" as the work of God through the prophet Mark Twain, but that doesn't make it so. Still, I will ask Huck to forgive your ignorance.

I dont know if this will "hurt" or not. But, if you are concerned about what God says, about being pure in His eyes, then you simply have to reject homosexual activity completely. There is always forgiveness for those who repent, (turn away from their disobedience)... God does NOT make mistakes; He never ever ever made any one perverted. Being attracted to another person of the same sex is a perversion. I am NOT being critical or judgemental, i am simply stating what God has said about men doing with men what they would do with a woman is WRONG.

Homosexuals are blinded by sin, blinded by their own selves... they were NOT born that way but were influenced by their lack of understanding of themselves and the Word of God... And rebellion. They arent aware that they are being rebellious outwardly but inside a great many men really want normal relationships with women. But their insecurity prevents them from breaking out, and after a while, they give up on ever haveing a normal man/woman partnership, then bitterness enters in.... afterward, they become so hardened in their hearts that they are given over to the spirit of perversity... Thats when you see them in the street acting like the fools they are... that "IN your FACE" attitude is straight out of hell.

If you buy this junk that the "gay" crowd, it wont be long before they start working on you. They are consumed of their own lusts. If God had intended men to lay with men, or women with women, He would have crreated two men or two women. He says in His word that Man is meant for woman; BE FRUTIFUL AND MULTIPLY... Only a man and a woman - male with female...

I believe that you already have the conviction in your spirit, you KNOW its wrong, you can FEEL its wrong but they are trying to make you turn away from the Lord, Honey, tho none go with you, you go on.... find yourself friends who are not in homosexual games... Trust that God will put you and a special someone of the opposite sex when the time is right.... Dont let them put a guilt trip on you either...if you pull away from them it is possible that God will be able to reach their hearts and lead them out of captivity too.... God is Good, BUT, disobedience is not overlooked by God... one day there will be a one on one with Him and those who chose to flaunt their sin in His face will live to regret it forever. Forever is a VERY VERY LONG time...to feel sorry for being a follower of the wrong crowd.

Gay people are often offended (as am I) when people tell them that being gay is a sin because it is very rude. LGBT people cannot chnage who they are, and when someone comes up them and is like "Your living a sin and you will go to hell. God hates you because you are gay!", its not exactly the nicest thing you wanna hear. Most gays ignor those people and tend to ignor them though.
