Why is the Yeti, aka Abominable Snowman, so much more of an abomination than Sasquatch?

in your estimation? Do you? Why do or don't you?

(Please no weird comments based on hatred. I'm not going to tell anyone they can't sit around hating whoever they like, but I do ask that you not express it in response to this particular question.)

If you have did He? And if you have'nt, why not? What is there to lose? Gain? And if you have'nt, then how do you know so much about His non-exsistance, when you have'nt even tried somthing as simple as this, but would rather believe a book that was written by another man? (other than the bible)?

seems to me people use "prayer" as a crutch, to do something easy and meaningless with the only real effect being making themselves feel as if they have done something important and meaningful.

try this out: for everyone you would normally pray for, why not also actually DO something...
instead of praying for the troops...send a few some anonymous gift baskets (if the Pentagon will mail them)

instead of praying for hungry children...give UNICEF or some reputable missionary group some money to feed them, or volunteer at a local soup kitchen for the homeless

instead of praying for politicians or presidents...send them a letter praising or berating them

whatever you do, don't JUST close your eyes and mutter under your breath and go on BELIEVING you have done something of any consequence...

some of my reasons are:
-to be able to help someone if I can
-to learn from other people about their opinions on the same question
-to pass the time and enjoy doing so
-but lately I think I'm just doing this for the points. Starting to be tempted to answer questions, even stupid questions, even giving stupid answers just to get another 2 points. I'm starting to hate the point system.
(Some of the questions here are really very private and sensitive and we should be careful on what we advice some of the people who have serious problems.)

Spells, wands, runes, magic books, rituals - In short, lmao. Sounds more like Harry Potter than a religion. I challenge anyone to post a link that has a clip of a "spell" being performed where I can actually see the spell take affect. You'll probably reply with something like "Wiccan spells can't be seen with the blind eye". Well what proof is there that these "spells" work then?

Why would you give your money to a pastor who only would use it to buy a bigger house, or fancier car or more expensive clothes and jewlery, when there are those who live on the street who can't even afford a meal. Why wouldn't you donate all your tithe to the needy and not to the greedy?

In many cases, the religious never get to hear apposing views regarding belief. Especially younger people. We are here just witnessing as you would your beliefs.

To help you out a little. I'm a sophmore. She could only invite 13 people and basically I have no idea what to get her. She plays the clarinet if that helps (and its an all girls party)
