Christianity is the only way to Heaven. Being a Christian in a country say like China, would you call that person weak, when his or her life is on the line every second of everyday. Check out the website persecution.com. If you are not weak. Being a Christian in most parts of the world today take more strength than not believing in anything. Most countries persecute christians, there are some very brave people in the world today, remember the little girl in in Colorado. Was she weak? I don't think so, No, she wasn't weak, she just went on to Heaven, and Jesus says unless you become a born again Christian you will not see the kingdom of God, John 3:3. Jesus came and died on that cross at calvery for you and me. Took wash away our sins. During this time of year we have just celebrated his birthday, I know you didn't get any gifts, or if you did you took them back right. I mean Jesus was brought gifts, thats why we celebrate Christmas. Its the birthday of our Saviour, it may not be the exact day, but in all Christians hearts, its the right day. Without a relationship Jesus Christ you will not go to Heaven, The Bible makes that clear, I encourage you to read about Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew, He loves you very much, He gave his life for you, Think about it, Its a life or death decision for you, denial of christ means a lake of fire for all eternity. That doesn't sound to good. My prayer is that God will open your eyes to the truth, and the glorious light of the Gospel will shine thru.

As a Christian, I could turn this around and state that atheism is a crutch for weak people who can only believe what is spoon fed to them things that are only visible and provable with physical evidence. It takes a person weak in character and spirituality to intentionally ignore their own soul, insisting that there is only science, rather than admitting that there's a possibility for spirituality and God to be the reason for the existance of science and the laws of physics to begin with.

There is no one that is strong among us before God. Every knee shall bow to Jesus as Lord. Every man who has rejected God and Christ, the great and the small, will be judged by God and thrown to their eternal torment in the lake of fire.
We are all sinners justly deserving such a hopeless, miserable future. I therefore am so thankful to God for His love, mercy, and grace to do for me what I cannot do for myself...He sent Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, to live a sinless life and die a sin-bearing death so that all, including me, who place their faith in Jesus will be saved.
I am weak, but He is strong. AMEN! I follow Christ because I cannot save myself. I am a Christian because I follow Christ. If you wish to call it a crutch...go ahead...but Christ, Christianity is a crutch for all to save us all...the key is faith.

Where we are is where we are. An old soul will probably come to a point where he lets go of organized religion religions, and organizations, and investigates spirituality, standing on his own 2 feet.

I personally think that Christianity was simply a legal system in it's development. A collection of examples and life lessons to govern society.

Not always. Some just don't get all the facts and were taught not to question anything so they go on believing what they were taught out of sheer stupidity. They just don't know any better.

Tired, old, moldy argument ....
Christianity is by no means a crutch. In our world, by and large, Christians are either vilified as neanderthals who hold to a dead faith or at best simple folks who need a little extra help to get them psychologically through this life.
Being a Christian means expecting and even looking forward to the persecution and hatred that Christ Himself received, because He said we would indeed endure it.

Don't know the answers? Don't want to take responsibility for your own actions or destiny? Have we got a faith for you...
