Whats your view on this.?

Since religious establishment like churches,mosques,hindus temples etc.

what do you have to thank yahoo for?

i have to thank them for having the LGBT section, meeting other good LGBTs and helping a percentage in the coming out process, helping me learn to stand up for my sexuality and the myths to the true facts.

Jehovah's Witnesses, why was the question 'Why is your salvation based on works?' removed?

I've noted that 9 questions about Jehovah's Witnesses have been removed over the last few days. A couple deserved to be removed and I've spotted one today (Thursday 27 Dec) that should be removed because it insults the intelligence of Jehovah's Witnesses. However, I am at a loss to understand why the question asked by 'Top Contributor' has disappeared. From what I can remember of the answers, it was an honest exchange of views. I've even written down my answer but I fail to see how anything I said could have broken community guidelines. What say you?

Why don`t Americans,Nazis,the KKK,and other White Supremacy groups consider Mediterranean people white?

Why don`t they?Sure they have olive skin,but when compared to the skin color of nonwhite races such as Mexicans and Indians,olive skin is a lot whiter!And Mediterranean people are not only European,or at least have the gene structures of Europeans,the Mediterraneans were the first Western people around(Greece was the first Western civilizationa and its people are olive skinned)!So why don`t they consider olive white?Why don`t they consider Arabs(considering most of them have olive skin and look Mediterranean) white?Why don`t Americans consider Mediterranean culture(especially Greek) White?And why do people on this website keep saying that Mediterranean people have black ancestors?There is no proof for this!Please reply!

1)Go to Europe,and you`ll notice that Mediterranean people (including Arabs) consider themselves white!
2)Europeans with lighter skin than loiv skin(Ex.Scandinavians,Germans,French,Irish, and British) consider olive-skinned Mediterranean people white!

Jesus said to him, "I am(A) the way, and(B) the truth, and(C) the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'

The Catholic Church teaches respect for all religions, including Judaism and Islam. As a non-Catholic Christian with many Jewish and Muslim friends, I've always admired the Church's teachings about other faiths.

Still, doesn't this verse, often quoted by our more conservative Christian friends, say the Jesus is the only way? Or is there another interpretation?

With 3 Sleeps To NYE, What Will You Remember Of 2007 In Your Life.?

Was this the year you came out, met your partner, broke up with a partner, lost a friend, decided changes in your life, moved house, traveled, lost a job or gained one. Has this year been one of the best or worse years in your life. Last NYE I went to a party and it seemed like 9:55pm for many hours. It wasn't till after 3am they realized the batteries in there clock died. (lol) Has this happened to you ? That's my best memory of 2007 missing NYE.

Do atheists provide 175 million free meals a day for needy people?

I know Christian relief organizations do it everyday, 365 days a year.
Are there any atheist charities out there that benefit humanity that I am not aware of? Not animals, not trees, not artists, I mean directly benefit humans in need.

What religion am I? Help?

Hello,
I never really went to church but I'd like to however there are so many denominations that I am lost.
I believe in God. I believe in Jesus Christ not necessarily as God's incarnation... but more as a son of God (like us) who had great leadership skills and showed us God's greatness.
I believe in Heaven/Hell but not in a literal sense and that to reach salvation we don't have to only accept Christ but that the judgment is based on our actions/choices made during life (being a good person, good husband/father, ... making the right decisions) To me our whole life is an interview that will decide what will happen next...
I refuse to believe in the Bible as the word of God in a literal sense. It needs to be interpreted in historical contexts, and also some messages are more picture like than literal meaning. I don't believe in genesis or again not in a literal sense. I definitely believe in the Big Bang and the evolution theory.

What denomination am I?

Why is the catholic church seen as the pinnacle of all things Christian in the world?

There are millions upon millions of Christians who are not catholic and would never bow down to the Roman dictator. Still, the news media gives the catholic church and the pope such power. This is funny considering that the catholics I have known are the least religious on a daily basis, the most foul-mouthed and sinful in their daily habits. If you were to debunk the Jesus story?

If you were to debunk the Jesus story, why would you want to stop someone from believing in Him if whoever believes in Him lives a productive and deceit life?

Even if the Bible is false,

Why deny the positive affects it has in positive Church-going people lives? Why not just shut up and live and let live?
