Did you have to call professionals in to win the war for you?

Mine was with those pesky little black ants. They could fit through the eye of a needle and would show up in the weirdest places, but keep coming back no matter what I did to get rid of them.

Yes, My wrinkles. I cannot afford to pay the professionals so I guess I will just have to live with them!

I knew I was going to lose from the get go. Still felt it needed to be presented and addressed . Just had to annoy. Everyone in my family died before they made it to 60, they paid into SSI all their lives. I questioned that all their payments should put into a trust or included into their estate, as they never collected .Well you can guess how that panned out ! Also questioned the fact that if someone immigrates here at age 60, they only have to pay into SSI for five years, and are allowed to collect to age 100 if they live that long. Pay in for 5 years , collect for 40...what a payout ! Just an old hippie at heart, ( with a little pit bull mixed in )

Well it wasn't quite a war... I was trying to make peace.... we did a pretty good job last night in the chat room! Tons of fun... thank you so much for bringing us your humor and quick wit!

The Ants.. get some peppermint oil... they hate it! just rub a little where ever they are bothering you... the oil will also help with congestion if you're not feeling well! they also hate salt!

Bind weed!!! It creeps into gardens and wraps itself around anything and everything! It's one of Mother Nature's maddening creations...and then when the bind weed flowers it is really beautiful with big, white, trumpety looking blooms!! But it still chokes other shrubs and plants and we will never win the war against it. The roots could be somewhere in the next town or beyond so we've no chance of defeating it.

Yes, Grooming The Hairy Gang, a couple of years ago my knee was getting too bad for me to be able to stand and do all the daily grooming that needs to be done with this breed, so I took them all over to the Dog Groomers place and she helped me give them all a short back and sides, I felt so guilty for doing it and ended up in tears when I saw them. But their hair's like ours and it keeps growing and now my big cuddly Hairy Hounds are back once more, and yes needing another haircut.

Yes. Here in the Northwest it is the battle of the garden slugs. They are everywhere I don't want them to be, even in the watering cans. Then, in the summer I am giving up trying to grow nasturtiums. I am resigned to the fact that they will never grow here like they did in So. California. These are probably insignificant, but there it is.

I've made war on my son's addictions. But I've realized it's a war he has to win, I can't.
I have however, kicked some serious "ant" butt. Every summer they think they own the place but I show them who's boss.

The moles are winning here in my yard. I only had a couple and tried using the peanuts and the grub killer, etc. I have just looked out during all this mild weather and have never seen so many mole mounds. Any ideas?

Deep south and roaches. We have a pest service once a month yet still bomb periodically. Huge oak trees and a 70 yr. old wood frame house make it a constant battle.

I am a winner--ants or rats or gophers and moles--bees in the ground, I win. Won some other human conflicts also. ;0)
