i have been attending this one church since 4th grade (im now in 10th grade) minus about 3 years (5,6, and 7 grade). but now recently i went to another church that a friend invited me to, and i have been going about 2 moths. now my boyfriend goes to church as often as he can so i go with him. i have been to to others that i really like. and i want to go to church and learn more every day. i am still loyal to my first church (i am getting baptized there this weekend) but i still want to go to others. infact i dont get to youth group this week cuz im out of town and i feel like im in a funk cuz im not spending time at chucrch

I've seen this from time to time. People spelling god or God as "G-d". Is this supposed to show reverence? It was my understanding that "god" is a title, not a proper name so why do some people spell it this way?

The bible people read isn't authentic because it is copied. There is nothing to stop an individual from deleting or altering verses in the bible during its duplication. There is no way to know if the bible is authentic unless the individual has read the very first bible that ever came to be.

My question:

"If I were converted to Christianity with lies, would God accept me if I converted other people to Christianity with the same lies?"

It can be said that fooling people without being aware of it is called ignorance.

Hell, I'd like to make a few people disappear too--this isn't like real life where kicking them in the head makes them go away--what does the "report it" button do?

A device that could accurately measure the holiness of any book would show which book is right! Is it the Torah, one of the Christian Bibles, the Koran, or possibly something else? All we need is a working Holyometer, and there can be an end to the bickering (unless, of course, none of the books are holy, but how could that many people possibly be wrong?)

so basically we were in chumash class (chumash is the study of the 5 books of the torah if you didn't know) and we were learning about Dinah and Prince Schechem. so basically it went like this:
So we learned that in the city schechem dinah one day got bored because she had no one to play with so she went out of the tent to go find some girls to be friends with and play with and the prince saw her and raped her

so my teacher (a woman) said: "shechem raped dinah because dinah left her tent and went outside" (this is exactly what she said no lie)

i mean dinah just went out to find GIRL FRIENDS because she was BORED...its totally blaming the girl for what the man did

i don't get it...what am i supposed to think about chabad now?
can someone explain this to me?
(i asked the teacher about it after she said it but she brushed off my question and wouldnt give me an answer and i've heard this explanation a few other times from chabad--NEVER from rabbis of other branches of judaism

If you are in line at the grocery and you notice the person directly behind you has only one or two items and you have quite a bit more than them, do you offer for them to go ahead of you?

birth control prevents eggs from being created, but what if you already have enough kids then birth control is still wrong? cause a woman cant have endless amounts of pregnancies. its risky for her health.

For those who've fallen for the moon god baloney, lol, this is for you:

Do you believe that Muslims worship a moon god because of the crescent moon that has come to symbolize Islam? If so, why then didn't Muhammad (saws) and his followers make use of the crescent? Why did it take until the Ottoman empire before Muslims used the crescent as a religious symbol?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crescent

Do you believe that Muslims worship a moon god because Islamic months go by the lunar calendar? If so, then does that mean you believe Jews also worship a moon god?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_calendar#Importance_of_Lunar_Months

Do you believe Muslims worship a moon god because a Christian missionary wanted to make a distinction between the names "Allah" and "God"?

Please, if you want to hate Islam, at least do so on reliable information, lol!

I'm attracted to a girl. She is a lesbian but she dresses, acts, and talks like a guy. It would be better and easier to handle if she was a male. Am I gay or am I just attracted to the masculine side of her?

OMG, I can't believe I posted this question. I have told this to no one.

I have a somewhat silly question about the of jesus. I have heard that the person jesus christ never existed. The person that most people, according to some, refer to as jesus christ was really named emanuel. I know some might think it doesn't matter what his name really was... but i would rather pray to god's only son by the right name. can anyone give me some info on this

I'm 11, and in 6th grade, and all the kids are all swearing, talking about other stuff, and they even have boy friends, and when they talk to each other, it's like they try to be a show off. Also the girls talk about how there're soo hot, when they're not, they just THINK that because they THINK that they're popular!

Please help me out through this so that i can actually understand the other kids.
