Ah, the proverbial case of "prophet profiteering", eh?

Probably not preferred preference for private profit--could provide penalties, perhaps. ;-)

The word 'prophet' has come to mean many things. But originally, a prophet was a person chosen by God to carry a message to others. So only God can make one. In the Old Testament, prophets are known by phrases like: "Thus saith the Lord!" In the New Testament only Jesus talks like that, so some people who don't believe Jesus is a God himself, believe he was a prophet.

yes it's ok, as long as they use that PROFIT to help all those unfortunate. and use the money to build facilities and buy food that will aid in that mission. churches that are run in the red will stay poor, and can't help nobody if they can't even help themselves. which is better, a church that accepts 1 bag of canned goods that will help one starving family, or a church that makes a profit, and uses that money to buy food that can help several starving families?

to do the greatest good, you have to have money in this world. nobody is gonna give you a donation, or gonna give you a million dollars worth of church shelter renovations just because you are a church, or a non-profit.

LOL Prophets for profits. I was raised Roman Catholic; have you seen the opulence of the Vatican? I've always wondered how much gold they actually need, and for what?

No. Churches can't "make" a prophet, only God can.

It's called being responsible stewards. If they were running in the red all of the time, that would surely be irresponsible and sinful.

This doesn't really work as a double-entendre if you write it out (at least for most of us!). But nice try.
