The use of birth control is frowned upon in the catholic faith, to my understanding. It is frowned upon because it prevents the possibility of a child being created from the act of sex.
"what if you already have enough kids then birth control is still wrong?"
I think the churches point is that the only purpose for sex is to have children...if a woman does not want anymore children she should not be having sex. According to the church, sex isn't something to be used for pleasure.
I don't agree with any of this but that's what years of catholic high school (and now a catholic college) has taught me.

It's not.
Just a heads up. Birth control does not "prevent eggs from being created." It prevents eggs from being released. All the eggs a women will have in her lifetime are already present at birth.

If it grow to be incorrect in God's eyes, could he have allowed it to be invented? That finished "be fruitful and multiply" element has been achieved suited already, do no longer you think of? we've greater human beings in this planet suited now than we've nutrition to feed. i think of we've been a lot fruitful sufficient. Get on the pill. Do the planet some sturdy. "delivery administration screams premarital intercourse. Fornication is incorrect interior the sight of God." No, it would not. There are plenty and a lot of married people who use delivery administration using fact they do no longer seem to be waiting to commence a family contributors yet. Or they do in basic terms no longer opt to have little ones in any respect. only stupid human beings think of that obtaining married skill you may desire to reproduce. "And by skill of the time the toddler is conceived, which each and each so often takes place in delivery administration, you're murdering the toddler. it rather is unquestionably incorrect." additionally incorrect, and actually ignorant. The pill prevents the launch of an egg, so which you will't in all risk get pregnant interior the 1st place. It would not ward off the implantation of a fertilized egg, and it useful as heck would not wreck a fertilized egg. It tricks your physique into thinking it rather is already pregnant, so it would not waste time in liberating an egg each month. It scares me which you anybody is so brainwashed by skill of non secular incorrect information which you will have self assurance all the completely incorrect crap that evangelicals with an schedule spout. examine a e book, for god's sake. "so you might declare that for the duration of your human rationality, you doubt God's ability to offer the cloth want of your self and a clean life He could conceive, employing you as His vessel, you're vaunting your rationality above that of God." specific, you're. shop doing that. Please. go searching in any respect the youngsters residing in poverty and sweetness no count in case you opt to advance a toddler like that. shop vaunting your rationality.

Most would agree that preventing an unwanted pregnancy is not going against God.
To be real, if god really wants a child to come forth, no amount of birth control is going to stop what is meant to be.
HOWEVER abortion should never, never, NEVER be considered an acceptable form abortion.
That is where most conservatives, myself included will draw the line.

Many religions actually don't object.
However, some don't.
I'd presume that their reasoning is that God, or whatever surpreme being they worship, does not accept the concept of birth control; their religion feels it interferes with the natural process of life.

The Catholic Church believes that sex is primarily for pregnancy. They believe that you should not be having sex if the purpose is not primarily to get pregnant.
They DO believe in birth control. It's called abstinance. A woman cannot have "endless amounts of pregnancies" if she's not having sex. If pregnancy is "too risky for her healthy" - then the Catholic Church believes that she should not be having sex.

Please don't be silly. There is absolutely nothing wrong about birth control. There is nothing in the Biblical text to suggest it is wrong...the RC church has however developed its own constructs around this.
And PLEASE...BE SAFE....and WISE...use birth control!
