I live near a little liquor store and anytime I run out of one or two things, I just walk the two blocks there to grab them. The owner is a very nice man, but he has one flaw in his business plan: he tends to give the wrong change! I don't mind this too much because I've learned to pay attention to him and count it when he hands it back. But yesterday he gave me change for a ten instead of a five, and I gave it back at the counter. The guy behind me was shocked, and as I started to leave he walked up and stage-whispered "I can't believe you actually gave that guy back his five!"
It got me thinking, what do most other people do? Is this like washing hands after using the restroom where everyone says they do but only 40% actually do? I'm just really curious. Be sure and tell me why you do what you do if you want best answer!
