I don't think so that GOD is very vindictive in any ways he was born as a baby boy and he grown up with a loving parents Joseph and Mary and did a good example even when he was a child.

God as a spirit has no gender. However, when he took on humanity, he was born into the world as a human male.

As far as being vindictive, he is not. But if we persist in our sins rather than repenting he will judge us.

Ezekiel 33: 11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

It depends on the religion. Not all religions believe that God is male or vindictive.

He's male because the Bible was written by men, OR (if you believe this is such), the BIble was God's word INTERPRETED by men.

His vindictiveness depends on the passage you read or the denomination you belong to. Some Christians believe 'he' is spiteful and vengeful. Some believe 'he' is forgiving and just wants your love and devotion.

God is whatever you want.

God is Spirit with both masculine and feminine attributes. And I can't see God as vindictive. In spite of some losses and sorrows in my life, I have been so blessed that I can only see God as benevolent and loving.

At least, that has been my experience ... Blessings!

We have the support of Scripture and Tradition for referring to God as "Father." Scripture and Tradition are channels of divine revelation.
Referring to God as "Mother" has no basis in revelation.
It is an innovation influenced by faddish concerns for political correctness.

This is not to say that God is male, any more than God is female. Nor is God both.
God is above sexual distinction. Still, the fact that God is always referred to in revelation with masculine pronouns leaves us no alternative.
To refer to God in the feminine is to suggest that we can shape God to our preferences, rather than be shaped by God for our salvation.

The god of the bible?
Because the authors had no respect for women, only men could be in charge of anything, so he has to be a man. Women's only purpose is to please men.
Besides, only a man could have screwed things up this badly.
He is vindictive because he gets off on it, he needs you to be submissive. He's very insecure and requires your praise.

It's okay though, god is imaginary.

Ummm from what I get from the bible...
Man was created first in God`s image. So its not really that God is male... males are made in the image of God. So in terms of gender... God tells us to call him Father... and as a result, his fatherly characteristics of the male of portrayed through man.

As for vindictive... God hates sin. He originally created us to be pure and perfect... but we chose to turn away from Him and that causes him to be very angry. Not for the sake of revenge for for our sake and outcome He reaches out and displays his anger to show how sinful we are so that we might open our eyes and turn to God`s perfect way again....

God is as much male as bright light or the sun is. In other world God doesn't have gender except in pagan religions who took human beings as God and in Christianity who supposedly have son and daddy. Real religion consider God as a source of light, not something with flesh and vein. Like Moses God, Mohammad's God, Ibrahim's God, non had flesh and vein and God forbid , sex organs.
