Most Christians I know pray every day, so in my humble opinion, every day should be a celebration of all that He has provided.
Christmas is about the birth of Jesus, everything else is subject to one's discretion - how many, and what kinds of gifts to give.
I actually like Easter best, because it celebrates God's passion for us, and .... remotely secondary ..... it does not involve too much commercialization - Yet.

Christians really don't have to wish. We pray and ask for what we need, knowing that Jesus Christ is sitting on the right hand side of His Father, Jehovah God, in Heaven and is making intercession for us. In the Bible it says that "you have not because you ask not. You receive not because you ask amiss, seeking to spend it on your foolish treasures.
Jesus taught us how to pray: "Our Father who art in Heaven. Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who tresspass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever. Amen."
That's what's meant by asking amiss....we must always remember to pray that God's will (not ours) be done. God always answers our prayers....it's just that sometimes He says "no".

Christians pray to God but there is no day set aside for God to grant all your wishes. We are suppose to pray daily, but it is not always about God granting us things.

No one needs a 'holiday' to pray to God. God answers the prayers of those whom He has chosen before the foundations of the world; His 'elect' - born again Christians. He does not hear the prayers of those who are outside of Christ - non-believers. Also, He answers prayers according to His will - not ours!
Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Job 35:13 Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
Psa 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
Isa 6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
Isa 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
Isa 66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
Jer 11:14 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.
Joh 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

No, not really. We are to celebrate Christ all the time and we are to commune together in remembrance of Him. Since Christ is always available to us, we can go to Him in prayer at anytime.

Romans 14 answers this best.
1.Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters. 2One man's faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. 3The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does, for God has accepted him. 4Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
5One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. 6He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat, eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. 8If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
9For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. 10You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat.
Hope this helps. Merry Christmas!

There may be, but none of them, Christmas included, come from the Bible.
