Does anyone else ever get sentimental when they see other people... I have a soft spot especially for senior citizens (I'm 35). It started a few years ago.. I have been an emergency (911) dispatcher for over 7years, so maybe that is why. I saw a couple today in Coscto. The man was blind and he had a seeing-eye dog. He was with (his wife I presume) and they were getting the samples at the carts. It brought tears to my eyes when I watched her hand him a taste of something.. I could just see the true love and companionship that I don't often see in young people. I often get misty-eyed in public.

Hi, my husband and I, both love our religions and each other, but we weren't expecting to have a child because we fear that raising a child under 1 household w/ two different religions might cause the child to, not only be greatly confused, but hate and/or disregard all religions. So we have been stressing over this for a while.

How do I deal with this? I am in a small office of 3 people in an accounting firm. The bathroom is literally 5 feet away from my desk. Well, every morning he goes into the bathroom and goes #2. The worst thing about it is he farts really loud in the bowl and it echoes a lot. I am not even sure if he knows that we can hear it. At first it was funny but it has been going on every few days for the past 3 months. Plus where I work it stinks for like an hour and I gag sometimes.

It might seem funny but hearing it and smelling it isn't any fun. I want to tell him but I don't want to get fired because of pay disputes in the past.

How do I fix this?

The Holy spirit was given to us as a garentee that we are truely saved. Once you are truly saved you can not lose salvation. If you think you can lose salvation then you also believe you can earn it. What I would really like is to have a big party on Christmas Eve with all my friends and family stay up late with DJ music, Mariachi, mix drinks and regular drinks(for the little ones!) and have a gift exchange to see all the phat, stupid, gay, funny, awsome, bad, good, unique, ect.... gifts that people could ever give and get!!! I went to one like this in Los Angeles w/my moms side of the family it was great!!! Very, very good times!

if god and heaven exists.... what if you are not religious, do you think that if you still live life by good morals will god judge you on your life and you will still go to heaven? or do you have to have accepted jesus as your saviour etc and show your committment? i do not like the belief that only those who are christened can go to heaven as many people are not educated enough about relgion to make a choice (i.e those who follow a specific religion are often unaware what other religions believe)

A few Christians always bring up the same comeback when I ask a question regarding their religion... and it usually goes along the lines of, "If you truly read the Bible you would..."

But I have read the Bible. Thoroughly.

Christians, in your mind, is it impossible not to be converted by the Bible from a young age - with no other influences, by reading it word for word and understanding everything?

Or is fully understanding the Bible the real demise of Christianity and the spawning of Atheist believers?

Or is someone born with a lack of belief, or intelligence to figure out the contradicting beliefs, morals and discrimination within the Bible?

Or is it the work of Satan trying to overrule God?

Is there some sort of online confirmation that's out there? I want to start confirmation, yet there isn't an adequate church near (Sundays I go to a Baptist church (they don't have confirmation), but I'll be going to a Catholic church next year, and I would like to be baptised & confirmed in the catholic church). My BI female friend has a gay friend (a guy) who asked her if he can get her pregnant & carry the baby for him, so he & his boyfriend can take care of it. He doesn't believe in adoption, & he's gay, but he REALLY wants to have kids of his own, so that's the only reason why he wants to sleep with her.

i believe each animal has a personality some species show these more than others but do you think they have a soul? I believe humans have souls as it is what makes us all unique. When animals die, do their souls go to heaven (as per the belief with humans) and are we all reunited with them as spirits and not in our physical form?
