I am interested in airplanes where can i volunteer as a high schooler to get volunteer hours?

Your church is the easiest one. Volunteer to help with a younger kids Sunday School class, that's an easy 1-2 hours a week. A nursing home is also a really good one because it looks really good to help out the older folks! Soup kitchens are fun but don't just go during the holidays (there are a lot of volunteers at that time as well)

There's also this government sponsored site (http://volunteer.gov/gov/) which provides volunteer positions through USA federal land agencies like Fish & Wildlife, Forest Service, National Parks, etc. Also, contact your local volunteer center; you can find this via the Points of Light Foundation web site (http://www.pointsoflight.org/centers/).

I am not sure about airplanes, but Chruches, Temples, and other places of worship can always need some help. Also, ask teachers if they need help correcting, cleaning, or jsut running errands. Babysit neighbors. Voulenteer at a soup kitchen or shelter.
