I was semi brought up in church...but my parents only sat down with me ONCE and talked about the bible. I almost feel like I've had to create my own spirituality...because no one has ever REALLY helped me. I believe in God, and I agree with Christs' teachings, but... something is keeping me from believeing in Jesus as a saviour. And then, on the news they say they've discovered the remains of Christ! OHHH MY GOSH. I 'm just so confused. What are your views on Jesus?

25 And you should know and have the insight [that] from the going forth of [the] word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until Mes·si´ah [the] Leader, there will be seven weeks, also sixty-two weeks. She will return and be actually rebuilt, with a public square and moat, but in the straits of the times.

26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Mes·si´ah will be cut off, with nothing for himself.

“And the city and the holy place the people of a leader that is coming will bring to their ruin. And the end of it will be by the flood. And until [the] end there will be war; what is decided upon is desolations.

I really have no interest whatsoever in it. I don't know why some people have a problem with that.

(My "internet" Christmas gift to you is Pandora Radio. You can listen to commercial free Christmas songs while playing Yahoo. (Actually, you can program it to play any type of music, you simply give them an example a song or singer you like.))

http://www.pandora.com/

What is your internet Christmas "gift" to the rest of us?

(I hope this spiritually motivated "gift" is not considered spam, it is free from the site, and it is free from my heart.)

Don't try to say you are celebrating Yeshua's birth, because you know that is a lie. Christ was not born on 25 December.

You will be celebrating with your Pagan Christmas Tree and images of Satan Claus (A.K. A Santa)

You people are Pseudo Christians!

"...and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matt 16:18

When clearly from scripture the rock He was speaking of was Himself?

1Cr 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

My thought is; this is the moment when we can no longer be untrue to ourselves. I support this thinking by suggesting, “No man is an island unto himself”. Meaning, when we have reached this darkest moment, we realize that there is no purpose unless we seek it for ourselves, to invest in ourselves so that others may invest also. Would you expound?

To me, icicle lights should be a single color only-and preferrably white.
Have you seen the multi-colored icicle lights? Did you like them?

I have just noticed a high number of Athiest responses to questions posted here on Yahoo! Answers and I was curious if it reflected the concentration actually found in society.

According to a 2005 study done by Zuckerman on both Athiests and Agnostics, the US is 44th on the list in terms of percentage of its population that is Athiest or Agnostic which is estimated at 3% to 9%. It is 7th on the list, however, in terms of the total number of Athiests in the world, estimated at 8.8 million to 28.8 million.

The only countries with more total Athiests than the US would be China (#1), followed by Japan, Russia, Vietnam, Germany, and France.

Yahoo! Answers is a world-wide service but in terms of total number of computer users in the world, the US leads with 198 million users (18%) of the world total followed by China (11%), Japan (8%), India (5%) and Germany (4%) according to Computer Industry Almanac 2006.

Why would it matter? Maybe the baby could carry on his or hers fathers wisdom throughout history? Why do Christians deny it so strongly when there's substantial evidence to show that Jesus once did have a child?

Or are they scared that if Jesus did have a baby that maybe he wasn't as holy and special as they once thought? God basically had a child, so why would that make him any less special?

What is the reason for the hate towards people who propose this?

Is it against the Bible?

Who would you rather believe - Jesus, or some follower hundreds of years later that interpreted his words and the teachings of others (possibly to his and their own advantage)?

Or are they just scared that if Jesus Christ's DNA carried through the generations that if one modern and surviving generation from that family was DNA tested and that no special genes might not be found - and that they actually found genes related to the ancestry of Joesph...?

What is the reason?

in San Diego, CA at the age of 76, no more pimpin' ho's for Ike. He was the king of laying the smack down, you gotta agree with that. You know? You think Tina will show to the Funeral? I do. Ike discovered her. If it wasn't for Ike, there would be no Tina Turner.
