Why all the silly questions like this? Who cares whether it's Christmas or not? It's just another day except the stores close.

And frankly to the few here who basically said they are intimidated by it I think you're a little weird too. "The dark ages"? That was just as bizarre as the question.

"tuyetn... Why not? Is this any sillier than most of the other questions posted here??" No, but are you really proud of that fact?

"Tuyetn ... Yes!!!"

So let me get this straight. You're proud of your nonsense? Ok that makes much more sense now. None of this is about theists vs non-theists. This is about idiots vs. non-idiots regardless of belief or lack of. I get it now. Yes this place makes sense to me now.

There are the morons who are proud of their moronic nature and those of us who are just shaking our heads in amazement.

Christmas is so secular now why should people be intimidated. To 90% of people it is just another holiday, it holds no religious meaning to them at all.

As for the people who are intimidated by it, and manger scenes, and stuff like that, I have no idea why. I never understand why people get so offended by something they actually do not believe in. I mean really what is more crazy, beleiving in an all powerful being that controls this world, or being offended by that being you do not even believe exists.

Live and let live.

You are buying into Bill Oreally's marketing ploy.

Nobody is really waging a war against Christmas. If you think about it, corporations are the ones who are adopting a religious neutral position . They aren't scared of a couple of atheists who are upset, that doesn't effect their bottom line. In reality, most large corporations are now international, and adopt a religiously neutral position because a large percentage of their profits or goods come from non Christian countries.

The War on Christmas is really a joke created by conservatives to maintain the persicution complex.

Intimidated? No.

Fearful of Christians at times - possibly. Absolute blind faith tends to make people irrational, especially when they're trying to snuff your **** so they can "save" you.

Intimidated by Christmas? Don't be ridiculous - it's originally a pagan holiday. We'll be celebrating 12 days and nights of Yule and putting up our tree, decorate the house and tree, hanging lights, exchanging gifts, hanging wreaths, feasting and toasting and celebrating the birth of all the savior sun deities (which doesn't include Christ).

Because it has stolen my lunch money from me for the month of December from me for the past 13 years. Oh, and because Santa Claus can infiltrate your home unseen, because Christmas trees look like giant decorative spearheads, and because egg nog is actually poisonous. At least those are my reasons...

Intimidated by? Not at all.
Bored and tired by? More likely. For christians it is a borrowed celebration about another mythical character and yet they choose this time of year to show their 'true' christian feelings.......yawn........

Because every year at Christmas time, one little atheist baby is taken to the vatican and sacrificed to the pope.

Its true! I don't have any sources and can't back that up at all- you'll have to take it on faith- but watch your babies non-believers- the X-Mas monster is gonna getcha!

I think you left a typo: Why are so many non-Christians intimidated by Christians? The answer: we're not.

Huh?! I guess I don't know to which group of cowaring atheists you're referring to. Maybe you could clarify what is it that's intimidating. Is it Santa? It's Santa isn't it?
