Don't try to say you are celebrating Yeshua's birth, because you know that is a lie. Christ was not born on 25 December.

You will be celebrating with your Pagan Christmas Tree and images of Satan Claus (A.K. A Santa)

You people are Pseudo Christians!

It's almost certain that Christ wasn't born on December 25th, and nobody's denying that the date of Christmas ties in with earlier Pagan celebrations.

So what?

I'm a Christian, and I care enough about Christ to bother celebrating His entry into this world. If you don't care about Christ being born, that's your business, but I'm celebrating it. My church has celebrated it for nearly 2,000 years, and it's a joyous celebration of Christ's incarnation on Earth. As for Santa Claus, he's a version of St. Nicholas of Myra, whose story is quite interesting in itself.

So stay home, behave like the Grinch, enjoy your smug self-righteousness, and have a perfectly miserable holiday. As for me, I'll be unwrapping presents, having some eggnog, going to church, and celebrating Christmas.

i don't have a tree. notwithstanding I do beautify with some evergreens this time of three hundred and sixty 5 days. different than for imported flora (which I additionally use), that is all that is obtainable contained in the north. Jesus stored trip journeys. If he had not, he might have broken God's regulation that required each and every grownup male to attend the three significant Jewish feasts. because we don't be responsive to the day Jesus became born, any day we %. isn't any distinctive than the different. because there are hundreds of gods that persons worship, there are various gods being commemorated on any particular day. BTW the iciness solstice is now not on December twenty 5th.

Hm. Someone needs some Christmas spirit I think. It's all about Jesus.

And I don't know one Christian who thinks Jesus was actually born on the 25th of December.

Who cares when Jesus died? (Well I guess alot of people do) I only care that he came at all and delivered a message of salvation - the gnostic type is what I am talking about here people!

Oh yeah, I am totally celebrating Christmas with my tree, my presents, my family, my wine, etc. The presents I give are not to remember Jesus by - they are to give thanks to my family members whom I love.

I know he was born in the Spring. That doesn't matter to me. What matters is JESUS himself, and that he loves us and that he WAS born, no matter when it was!

Merry Christmas!
