Is it okay with you that there is no heaven? That we only get 80 some years and then its over? Do you wish that there WAS a real heaven so that we could be with our loved ones forever? I've just always wondered if non-believers wish there was something to believe in... I believe in God but I question myself all the time. I know I won't care either way when I'm dead but I'd like to think and hope that there is a Heaven... let me know your thoughts.

I have decided not to give gift cards this year due to their
purchase cost, unused balances, other fees that reduce amt.
So this year I want to give REAL cash, but other than
putting it in a cute money card, does anyone have any suggestions?
The more creative or unique, the better.
I will be mailing these money gifts out to another state,
so nothing heavy please.
Thanks!

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm a baby Christian, and I'm recovering from SI, trying very hard, and I would like to know if anyone knows of any scripture that could help or if there's any that addresses this kind of thing.

Please, no rude answers. I'm asking for honest help.

Because I want to say it here.
Here it is:

Hi!!! Today, I like so totally found a dead rat in my toilet! How it got there, I don't know, but I do have my suspicions. See, we have this one kid here at this orphanage that will eat anything!! And when I say anything, I mean anything, that boy is sticking the oddest things down his throat! But, besides that, my day went pretty well!! How about yours?

I'm a college student who attends courses with huge lecture halls or teeny tiny classrooms. Either way the seats are cramped and most people don't know each other. Now my issue is that I have severe asthma, and I cannot be around someone who has just had a cigarette. Even with medication it sets me off badly. I don't judge people who smoke, they can't help their habit any more than I can help my breathing problems; but if a smoker sits near me and I need to get up and move I feel like I'm being incredibly rude. But it's either be polite and suffer for 2 hours or feel like a jerk and be able to breath ok. What's a polite way to handle this type of situation and smokers, how would you like someone to treat you in a situation like this?

We have done cultural presentations in school that dealt with special healthcare considerations for those of a different culture (Chinese, Korean, American Indian, etc.) but did not focus at all on cultural practices based on religion. My question is, according to my understanding, the sacred garments cannot be taken off by anyone who is not at the same level in the church as the person wearing them (not sure what this means either), but in the event of a medical emergency when no such person was present, what would the best course of action be if the person needed a procedure done that required removing the garments? Also, how would the average person know the significance of the garments, is there some way of notifying other people that they are not to remove the garments?

How come whenever something happens, straight away the blame game begins.

Can’t some people take events as pure ACCIDENTS? Why does everything always need to go straight to the negative?.

Yes, some things can be caused by neglect but some things are purely just accidents and ways of life, why do we need to blame other people?

Somebody dies in a hospital-there is a shocker. We must use tax payers money on an inquiry.

There was a storm- let’s blame the industry sector for ‘increasing the climate change effect’

Children eat small balls from a toy-PARENTS KNOW CHILDREN EAT SMALL THINGS,IF THEY ARE SO STUPID THAY CAN’T MOVE THEM AWAY FROM THE CHILD,THEN WHY DOES THE COMPANY HAVE TO SUFFER?

Children eating fast food makes then fat-DON’T GIVE IT TO THEM, YOU ARE THE PARENT.

Why don’t people either 1.take it as an accident (storms, dying in a hospital etc.) or 2. take some responsibility for themselves(children eating small toys, eating fast
food etc)?

I'm physically attracted to men and the idea of being with them, but sickened (no offense) by the thought of actually being sexual with another man.

I'm not physically attracted to women or the idea of being with them sexually, but tend to have many female friends who I am very close with and deeply care for, though I do not want to be sexual with them.

So the bottom line is I don't want to be sexual with either gender, but I enjoy the physical appeal of men and the emotional appeal of women.

What does that make me?

Why/why not?
How would you know that God did/didn't command her to do that?

Note: offerings do not always have anything to do with sin.

We've been going out only a month, so we're both not expecting very costly gifts. I know he likes race car driving, hockey (roller blading not ice), and techno music but I still don't know what gifts would be good that go with these interests. I don't think he needs any new gear for hockey...he doesn't really buy from iTunes and I don't know what artists/songs he'd like (even if I did, he might already have them.)...

Friends have suggested watches and tshirts/sweatshirts but I'm thinking those might be a little impersonal (and he's already got a nice-looking watch haha) since he was nice enough to remember a CD I'd wanted and got it for my birthday.

So any suggestions, tips, ideas?
