Each time it's mentioned I see a lot of people pointing out gleefully that "it's just a theory" and that The Bible is Fact. Isn't it about time Darwin's work was taught as scientific fact?

The burning bush, the ten commandments, the escape of the Israelites, talking to Jesus, ending and rebuilding cities, I could go on and on and on. How come I don't see heads and tails of him anymore? We had how many years of slavery? Religious executions? Does he only care about his Israelites? Which leads me to another point, how come he didn't help any of the other 100's of other civilisations that existed at the time? It's curious, God is supposed to love everyone, but it seems he only loved a few select people in a certain time.

And don't play the free will card, because he didn't respect the Israelites right to free will, as obviously illustrated in the Bible.

A mother of 2 pre-school children is in her 3rd pregnancy.

She has diabetes, and because of its advanced state, physicians say that if she continues her pregnancy, she has a 30-50% chance of dying, and leaving her current children without a mom.

There is negligible risk from an abortion (less than 1% chance of serious complication) if the procedure is performed within the next 2 weeks.

How should she weigh the factors in making her decision?

Should the government have a role in helping her make this decision?

What would your church say or do when she next attended with her family?

I really want to get to the bottom of this, please let me know your opinion.
Somenone asked me a question about my neighbor down the street. I asked them "what neighbor"? They pointed down the street and said "the neighbor a couple of houses down"? I replied by asking "what neighbor"? They said "a couple, you know two"? They asked me "what you don't know what a couple is"? I think a couple of houses down can be 2,3,4,5 houses down.

useful? Why didn't he stop the terrorist on 9/11? Why didn't he stop Baby Grace's parents from abusing her and killing her? Why does he create ice storms that kill people?

Man's free will, I know... but what about innocent VICTIMS? Why isn't God protecting his children??

Why do I bother asking these questions?

during a talk with an all knowing atheist and a god loveing true christian baptists, two things about my religion came up that until now I did not realize to be true.

aparently we are one of the most sexist religions in the world, because the bible is sexist and we dont allow women to be priests, and we force pregnant women to call the "mass of tissue in her stomach" a baby, who knows it could really be an ostrich right?,

however on further enlightenment I found out that we also worship mary and other saints, including females, forgive my simple mind but if we were sexist against women, why then would we sink so low as to worship them, and their ilk?

please help this poor and confused catholic
