There is evidence for the existence of Jesus coming from historians from the era as well. The vast majority of historians and anthropologists believe Jesus existed.
There is also the Bible.Someone had to say the things said in there. And whether his name was Jesus or Bob doesn't matter.
There are no videos of anyone's existence back then because videos didn't exist. This is truly an exasperating statement.
Nobody can perform magic or miracles. What you fail to understand is that the Bible is symbolic in many ways. Its takes an educated mind to understand its meaning. Sadly, many fundamentalists and atheists assume the Bible must be taken literally.
Praying (not preying) by itself won't help things. You need to take control of your own life and not expect God to do everything for you. But believers still pray for guidance and strength, and to help them make difficult decisions.
You have every right to think the way you do. But the way you word the post makes you seem rather ignorant about Christianity. And your comment that you don't want to hear from church goers or Americans is very bigoted of you.

I may be out of my league here, using punctuation, capitalisation, proper sentences, etc. :) Answer in the form of a question:
1) What's wrong with the world?
2) How did it get that way?
The only thing that I've found that effectively answers these questions is the Bible.
Further, I have a little experience in mathematics (masters degree). The probability that the universe and life on earth "just happened" makes that doctrine, as it were, unbelievable. And given the answers I've found to the above questions, I believe there is a God.

You know the bible said that the devil believes and he even trembles before God and Jesus. I respect your position not to believe but you haven't given any concrete evidence why you believe the way you do. Have you seen videos of people in history before the video camera was invented?
In the Christians world we call it miracles and not magic and I have seen some and personal have a few in my life. Study God out and am sure that you will find that he exist. Look up at the sky, complexity of your body, and just the things made by man. Do you think that the computer am typing on right now is not created by someone? So the answer to your question is God, Jesus, and Mary exist. I asked that God reveal himself to you. Not at church but on the level that you willing to meet him.

I am not exactly sure what kind of answer you are looking for to be honest.
I am an American, I do not go to church every Sunday. I do believe in miracles and I do believe the bible is a great history book.
I believe that each person should have a belief in something. By having this belief it brings hope to the person when hope seems to be the furthest away. By having a belief in something helps to bring out inner strength in people when they feel they have nothing left to go on for or to keep fighting for.
I believe good things happen to people who work towards them. Not necessarily sitting in your house and fate comes knocking at your door. (although I am sure someone has story of this happening).
I believe that each person should have the right to believe in what they feel without another person telling them they are wrong. How do you define one feeling from another as being wrong. It is how you feel there is truth in that. Explore that feeling and find the hope and strength to learn the truth.
Not sure if that is the answer you are looking for but it is all I have at this time.
Hope it helps

The strongest evidence that Jesus lived on earth and seemed to people as more than just a man is.... Christianity!
For over 2000 years Christianity has shaped western culture, a fact that cannot be denied. So while the miracles of Jesus are not at compatible with science, the fact that a person named Jesus shaped the world as we know is indisputable. Whether he was in fact the Son of God, we may never know.

Im with you on this one. Im a bit educated on the fact as I intend on doing a phd on it but you ask the right questions. i mean how are we supposed to believe in ctuff like that with no proof. It's beaten into us when we are kids. If a fat man DOESNT come down the chimley once a year well what about that guy who walked on water and rose from the dead.
I say each to there own, if people want to believe in god, ok, bu they have no right to preach and say ...this is how it is.
Ha, you didn't want any american replying....they probably think you being from london and be being from ireland hare each other and are at war. My point is..nowhere in the bible in intelligence complmented.
You should read the chapter called "God wanted, dead or alive".. it in the satanic bible.....and no satanism isnt about worshiping satan. look it up, ots interesting stuff thats makes a lot of sence

Actually, if you want to get technical, ancient Roman records have been discovered concerning a man named Jesus. Most Historians also believe that he was a real person who really was on earth. So, it's likely he DID exist. What people argue about is not really whether or not he existed, but whether or not he was the son of God, a normal person, or a crazy guy for thinking God actually exists. What you think of Jesus just depends on your perspective of God, I suppose.
I do believe in God though, and I do believe that Jesus was the Son of God. But if you don't, that's fine. I have no right to tell you how to live your life and I'm not going to try to convert you.

one's belief or non-belief is a private matter, I do not go to church as a matter of fact but I do believe that I am a child of the most high and the Holy Spirit is the power that is within me that gives me the ability to create wealth and the life that Im now living in. The ability to make things happen can be described as miracle or others may call it magic but none of it matters really. What matters is how you react to the things that is happening to you and the source of all these can be called God, others call it energy. Whatever it is called, it is real whether we believe it or not. As for Jesus and Mary's existence is not only found in the Christian's Holy Bible but also in Koran. Archeologists are also finding some proofs of their existence as shown in the Discovery Channel.

There does seem to be some historical evidence that Jesus existed, and that he caused a bit of a furore to the establishment of the day, by talking about notions like tolerance and peace. Much of what he said has doubtless been corrupted. For example, I am pretty sure he would have no truck with the concept of Hell.
Individual spirituality need have nothing to do with organised religion. Most have got it wrong in my opinion, but there is good to be taken from most of them.
The trouble with ancient writings is they lose a lot in translations, they go through a lot of people who add or take from them. Just try to be a good person and you'll do OK.

Well, we DO know that they exsisted because the Bible is a first hand account of all of these, not just stories. Also, if you have seen some of the history channel specials on Jesus, whenever they try to "find His body" or "discover Jesus's bones", they only prove themselves wrong, hence proving the Bible even more. How can you explain how everything came from nothing? Christianity is the only "living" religion; Jesus came down and LIVED with us and records were made about it, by ROMANS, the "greatest civilization of early times!" now, i should wrap it up so im not violating letter C. If your right, then were just dust in the wind. If im right, send me a letter from the lake of fire.
