I got this comment as an answer to one of my questions. Now I know many of you out there are pretty wonderful people and all, my friends Lucid and SDW for example. But... as a general theme it seems many of you WISH very hard for the day you can put all us nonchristians to the torch. Personally I wish christ were real just so he could come down and put you in your place...

"I cannot wait till that time when JESUS returns....... 'cause then it will be too late for all the scoffers out there. And honestly, I have no pity for them. Jesus saith unto them; "depart from me ye that worketh iniquity".

The one certainty of the human experience is death. But what might happen when our effort to prolong the inevitable starts to turn that battle around? Will someone, or something, step in to ensure the final outcome? At what point does the cost of survival... become too high a price for us to pay?"

Shouldnt they apply to everyone?? If a black kid were to get beaten near death while walking home from school by a group of white kids there would be news stories across the country covering it.Million man marches would be formed riots and looting you name it. If the kid happend to be white and the attackers were black NO ONE WOULD BAT AN EYE in this country????Case and point http://urbangrounds.com/2007/12/07/another-black-on-white-hate-crime/

if the female in this story would have been black the nation would have been turned upside down.I think racism goes both ways, and white people are entitled to civil rights just like anyone else.If saying so makes me a racist so be it.You know and I know thats just ignorant anyway, and no I'm not going to agree with you just because MTV or the popular media tells me to.The hell with that, if the system will not protect us then I say do what you must to protect yourself.

The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light,
I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight.
My wife was asleep, her head on my chest,
My daughter beside me, angelic in rest.

Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white,
Transforming the yard to a winter delight.
The sparkling lights in the tree I believe,
Completed the magic that was Christmas
Eve.

My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep.

In perfect contentment, or so it would seem,
So I slumbered, perhaps, I started to dream.

The sound wasn't loud, and it wasn't too near,
But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear.
Perhaps just a cough, I didn't quite know,
Then the sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow.

My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear,
And I crept to the door just to see who was near.
Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night,
A lone figure stood his face weary and tight.

A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old,
I believe a Marine, huddled here in the cold.
Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled,
Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child.

'What are you doing?' I asked without fear,
'Come in this moment, it's freezing out here!

Put down your pack, brush the snow from your
sleeve, you should be at home on a cold Christmas Eve!'

For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift,
Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts.
To the window that danced with a warm fire's light
Then he sighed and he said 'Its really all right,

I'm out here by choice. I'm here every night.

It's my duty to stand at the front of the line,
That separates you from the darkest of times.
No one had to ask or beg or implore me,

I'm proud to stand here like my fathers before me.
My Gramps died at Pearl on a day in December.'
Then he sighed, 'That's a Christmas Grams always remembers.'

My Dad stood his watch in the jungles of ' Nam,
And now it is my turn and so, here I am.
I've not seen my own son in more than a while,
But my wife sends me pictures, He's sure got her smile.

Then he bent and he carefully pulled from his bag,
The red, white, and blue...an American flag.
I can live through the cold and the being alone,
Away from my family, my house and my home.

I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet,
I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat.
I can carry the weight of killing another,
Or lay down my life for my sister and brother.

We stand at the front against any and all,
To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall.
'So go back inside,' he said, 'harbor no fright,
Your family is waiting and I'll be all right.'

'But isn't there something I can do, at the least,
'Give you money,' I asked, 'or prepare you a feast?
It seems all too little for all that you've done,
For being away from your wife and your son.'

Then his eye welled a tear that held no regret,
'Just tell us you love us, and never forget.
To fight for our rights back at home while we're gone,

To stand your own watch, no matter how long.

For when we come home, either standing or dead,
To know you remember we fought and we bled.

Is payment enough, and with that we will trust,
That we mattered to you as you mattered to us.'

Do you believe there will be a rapture? If you do, do you believe it will be pre-, mid-, or post-tribulation? Can you provide some scripture to back up your belief?

I'm asking the non-believers VERY nicely to please let the believers answer. I want to get their take on this.

I slapped an old man silly who looked at my behind as I walked by in the park. I think I left some marks. That will teach him to stay away from Satan and his temptations and get right with God.

Does it make a difference who you're with?
Does the weather make a difference?
If you don't return your cart, what do you do with it?

This question isn't about what you should do. It's about what you do. Please be honest.

some know this, some dont. it has been proven and was proven like 15-20 years ago, but it was kinda sweeped under the carpet by christians. not kidding. if you dont believe me, look it up. ive watched documentaries and read books all about how it was proven. im not saying how. i know some christians will say god did it. thats not my point. its that if you say it didnt happen its like saying 2+2 doesnt equal 4.

i know i was going to say something else, but i forgot.... LOL. if i remember, i will edit.

Will those who were not aborted then see that the elderly are no longer a use to society and are a parasite that drains resources?

Will the survivors use their right to choose to remove those that take from their society?

Will their lead argument be, "It is our country you cannot tell us what to do?"

God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap. If you kill you will be killed. God is just, and he will insure that vengance is taken for the sake of the murdered babies.

Even though I am pro-life, pro-choice and pro-life debates aside here (because nobody ever wins those and everyone always has something to counter someone else)...
WHAT ON EARTH COULD MAKE A PERSON WANT TO BECOME AN ABORTIONIST?
I came across this the other day and seriously almost teared up.... (please be advised before visiting the link that it's an actual account from a nurse who witnessed an abortion and she leaves nothing to the imagination...)

I hope this question doesn't sound insensitive; I care about these people and have donated my time and money to help them. There are so many places they can turn to for help in getting back on their feet. I don't understand why so many are homeless.

I know there are government, church, and charitable organizations that provide food and shelter. There are also place that help people get cleaned up, give them new clothes and help them find jobs and prepare for the interview. I did my Eagle Scout project for a place like that. There are also government programs to help the physically and mentally disabled.

I don't understand why so many people are homeless.

Supposing that there is solid evidence that there is in fact a God, what would be some arguments (viewpoints) that might disprove this theory? As in physical evidence.

Plz dont say, "Well, there isnt solid evidence anyway so dont worry about it." I want someone to PROVE to me beyond reasonable doubt in his/her own words that God doesnt exist, b/c I have heard plenty of people prove to me how He does, and I like to hear both sides of the argument before I make an assumption.

Also dont say, "Well it depends upon what that person said to you." B/c We are assuming that what the person said is solid evidence. Just give me actual proof that he doesnt exist.
