A Christian, an Atheist, and an Agnostic walk into a bar.

Upon the bar sat three fresh mugs of beer but no bartender to be found.

The Christian says, " How wise and kind the bartender was to anticipate our arrival and provide us with this refreshment."
The atheist says," Fool, the fact that there are three beers here, does not prove that a bartender poured them and it certainly doesn't indicate any benevolence on the part of a non-existant bar tender."
The agnostic says, " Damn, this beer is good."

That Mary is the symbol for the sign that the Sun (son) is born in? or that its also in Bethlehem?(means House of Bread, the zodian sign that also means Virgo, the zodiac the gives birh to the sun) or that, on that fateful day, when all life is reborn, the Three Kings actually point to the place that the sun is born. Three kings, the brightest constellation stars. That the sun is the giver of all life, and no matter how much people want the power in people, your entire life follows it? Or that the sun "dies" for three days, and is reborn, and everything is renewed? or that this story is in almost every area around the world?

Religious Q here.
The music at stores is rock and raving music playing discouraging you from buying. Christmas cards now are whimsical and have reindeer, dogs or other subject matter not pertaining to the holiday. Cards are not being sent like they used to.
Who or what is trying to end Christmas?
Please don't say retail, because they want to make the money.

Mine would be...

"Judge not, least ye be judged" <---Good advice.

I'm agnostic by the way, but I do agree with some of the statements in the Bible, whilst I do disagree with other parts.

like they have a divine right to do so, and therefore have the right to add "God's will" to everything they say. I don't think they should do this, if you have read the Bible you will know (as I do) that God does get a bit irritable with people who take him for granted and take advantage of him, (Job, the people in the flood, Adam and Eve) and tends to punish them. So I think the saying should be "I hope I will go to heaven" after all as Kipling said "Take things for granted and they will be taken from you"

What do you all think ?

Firstly let me point out , i am not a JW. My mother is.
I have studied your faith and i lke it.
I am asking this question as my mother lives in another city.
I have no intention of running you down , it is a curiosity question.

Today there has been a few questions asked of you ,by apostates , in ways meant to run your faith down.
I know and understand your attude to disfellowshiped people ,you do not talk with them but not all disfellowshiped people are apostate.

My question is this .If you answer a question posed by an apostate (assuming all apostates are disfellowshiped ) are you braking your bible based standards by answering them ?
No matter how wrong their statement is .
Or is it concidered OK to defend your faith under these circumstances ?

Please forgive if this question brings you any ridicule , it's not my intention.

For example, I'm a Christian; I think Judaism teaches us that the Supreme Force behind the universe is not a morally neutral force. I think modern atheism teaches us that we only know for sure that we get one life, so we ought to make the most of it.

Any thing you've found outside your own tradition?

etc. colliding into each other? Maybe I have the starting point a little mixed up but isn't that about the way it went? Question: If that is about the way things started, why isn't it continuing that way? All kinds of matter, energy, molecules, and more come into contact with each other all the time, so why don't we have explosions going off around us all the time? Wouldn't the world be a continuing atomic bomb? Yeah, maybe this question is better suited in a science type category, but I'm asking those that hold to the big bang theory and not creation-intelligent design

although i believe that God is not real, the message... is.
love and kindness, etc...
the "abolishment" of God would mean that the message would be lost as well. The world needs this message, and if the only way it will survive is if there is a God to believe in, then so be it.
i I don't have to believe in God to understand the teachings of the bible, and i think if people can start realizing this and stop arguing about how real God is, and who's right and wrong, and just focus on the morals of the bible, the world would be a better place.
The real purpose of the bible has been lost over time, and has become a never ending war,

respect other religions... while keeping your own, and live your life, practicing what is preached.

~~~What does it matter who you believe in? as long as the message is spread?
Surely if not, there is no reason to have three seperate entities, but if they each have limits on what they can do, God is not omnipotent. How does that work then?
I am the first person she shared the news with and i just couldn't say anything. I asked if she wanted to talk but she said she would be busy with the funeral so she wants to wait until after that. I can tell she was very shaken but she keeps a calm and composed manner. I just feel so useless because thats all i can do. So is there anything else i can do to help her ? I doubt she would talk truthfully about it though, she is the type who will try to conceal her feelings and act like nothing happened even though i can tell she desperately needs help. Please can someone tell me i am so worried.
