Frankly, I thought that you were a Christian until I read your profile.

Christians also follow the Ten Commandments that are taught in the Old Testament (The Torah). Your qualities as a kind answerer on Yahoo Answers and your statements on some things about the Lord kind of made me assume that you were Christian. Additionally, I guess it's because there are fewer Jews than Christians.

Because they confuse spiritual matters with rituals and practices.

If you had a time machine and were able to transport a present day mechanical engineer who happened to be an atheist back in time to let us say 200 yrs.

Assuming that this engineer began applying his present day knowledge in that lesser technically advanced setting, not only would this person become wealthy but some would claim this person to be a prophet and create a cult following.

I don't assume that. You are the one assuming that we assume that because you are religious that you are a christian. Religiosity is not the mark of a Christian according to the bible: "They will know that you are my disciples; if you love one another." Being a christian is being like Christ who was Godly, not being religious like that of pharisees.

Good question. Why do you assume that I assume that you are Christian? Besides, Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship with Jesus who is the Messiah. The Savior and the only way to heaven.
