I think they are more afraid some one else might be right.

Some Christians are full of hate and anger because they are people. Being full of hate and anger is not a requirement for being a Christian - plenty of non-Christians are like this too - some of them flew planes into the WTC. Religious hatred is not exclusive to any one religion.

BTW: I'm not a Christian, but I was raised as one. I know too much about history now to ever go back, and when the world learns more history, there will be more people like me - our numbers are increasing. Learn history = Learn the Truth.

either because they are afraid that they might be wrong and the only way they know to convince other ppl they are right is by yelling, screaming, etc. they do not like to sit down and have a civil conversation using reason- all they ever say is god said so, BUT you know what- the reason they always refer to god is because they have no other reasons for their beliefs- its blind faith and that just aint healthy- it means you ignore the ppl around u and their opinions/beliefs

consider this: the two biggest religions in the world- Christianity and Islam are the two biggest religions (largely) because they have forced ppl to convert (their children and grandchildren and so on follow it becuz that is all they know) and that cycle has sustained their respective faiths... the reason they forced others to follow is becuz the others were not given a good enough reason to willingly convert- these ppl converted out of either fear, blind faith (and i would call this hypnosis or brainwashing), or violence... now that history right there is evidence of the hatred and anger they embody

and for other possible reasons- they are tired of being wrong all the time and they would feel worse if they admitted they were wrong- its a matter of pride, man!

but yeah- that is why i think they are angry
someone might also say they are angry becuz they live around a bunch of stupid, impious ppl that they think are wrong- well, you know what- some of those ppl might think the radical religionists (of any faith) are just as stupid, blind, and impious (i mean u force others and sometimes urself to call out god's name in vain- that aint very faithful, now is it?)

Some of them ARE wrong (although that doesn't mean ALL are wrong). And some are just defending their beliefs, some are mistaken for being angry, some are hypocrites, some really are full of hatred and anger, etc. I think the reason why is because they are hypocritical, as we all get sometimes or because they are embarrassed at being wrong, etc.

it fairly is a on condition that faith is a mushy concern and it from time to time brings out the worst in human beings. Christians accuse Atheists and Atheists will accuse Christians or faith in this is Entirety in turn. some will ask and respond with Hatred on a similar time as some will see previous that and answer in a extra non violent and documents tone... it truly is how human nature works usually....

I think many christians feel they may be wrong and I also believe that many have control issues. Many of the dogmas which are associated with christianity offer license to those with control issues to dictate to others. And, yes I believe many might not have the faith to rest in the assurances God offers them. Their expectations for peace and forgiveness are not met because of the barriers they maintain. They estrange themselves from those around them and most of all from their god.

Why do you ask?

I've never noticed that.
Sunday morning at the church where I go, most of the people are filled with joy and peace, grateful that a righteous God would send His Son to pay for their sins.

Merry Christmas!

Well, I think the problem is, their not really reading their bibles at all. The bible doesn't say to bible thump, smack, or anything related to harassment, with the word. We are to live as examples of Christ, not throw the bible in people's faces and hope they'll come to (after they've passed out) wanting to be saved.

And those who are uncertain of what God says of tolerance of differences, would probably be afraid of being wrong; and hope that if they can convince the other person they are right, that everything will be hunky dory in their life.

Matthew 7:3
"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"

Explain how we are full of anger and hatred. You've cited no examples which makes your statement arbitrary.
