Now you've got them trying to figure out what gravel has to do with the space shuttle.
Anyway, the Shuttle plays with gravity to stay in a constant state of free-fall around the earth.

Once a certain altitude is reached, the falling motion of gravity transforms into a revolving motion and becomes a satellite. The object is still falling, but because of the curve of the Earth and the weaker pull of gravity, it's just falling at an angle which prevents it from going straight down. It will eventually fall down exponentially faster as it gets closer to Earth if there is no additional thrust added to increase the altitude. The moon is in a similar situation, but it has enough gravity of its own to prevent it from falling into the Earth.

bionic pelvises: there is enough power generated by the astronauts performing pelvic thrusts to overcome the earth's gravitational field. the method and form of these thrusts take is still a matter of conjecture, but Houston has had to impose a radio black out until orbit is achieved so as not to impinge on the separation of the state and religion.

My theory about the evolution of gravity may still need a little work, and I will finish it after I finish my paper on entrocombobulentspatialplasticism.

It doesn't, but I'd bet good money that you should become a "windilutionist" because you are probably breaking it all the time. Your stockings turn me on, Church Lady... now dance for me... here's a dollar... for the collection plate, of course... isn't that special?

I'm surprised you don't know...
The FSM allowed this to happen, by releasing his noodly hold on the shuttle..

I am trying to decide whether you are being facetious, or simply know nothing about physics.
