Yet if you get the same feeling with another god, either those guys are faking it or they're secretly worshiping the christian god anyway even though its totally different beliefs

I'm not sure if you mean why did God touch us or did something happen to make us think He touched us. So I will answer both ways. Why did God touch me? Only He knows. Perhaps to enlist me into His service. Did something happen that made me think that this had happened? Yes, I did physically feel a weight come off of me when I first believed in Christ, and I have never been the same since that moment which was many years ago.

My Church is quite large, I say at least 1000 to 1200 people attend in two morning services. When the Spirit of God touches you, it is as if you are totally alone with the Lord, His Spirit flows freely, especially during Praise and worship.

You have total peace as if you are floating and nothing else matters. All of your burdens you have faced the week leading up to Church are lifted from you.

I never want to leave, because outside those Church doors you face evil at most every turn, where there is no freedom in Christ, only people who are rude, full of hatred and we know Satan is the prince of this evil world.

Christians are in the world but not of the world...

Believe it or not missy, you did not make yourself. God made you. He put a spirit inside a temporary body of flesh and blood. The body will decay but the spirit will live on "somewhere" forever.

God hates our flesh because it has taken us away from Him. So He relates to His children through the spirit instead.

Since you are admittedly atheist, it's a bit like trying to explain the color red to a blind person.
