naked, i would look for something to cover with once outside, like a garbage can lid or leaves or something.

I experienced the "Loma Prieta" earthquake in San Francisco, in1989. So I can speak from real experience with massive earthquakes.
I remember that it was only a few mins. after 5:00 p.m., and I had just returned from Golden Gate park. A lady friend and I had gone to an exhibition at one of the museums there, and remember that it had been extraordinarily hot: hot for San Francisco, where the weather is usually like a perpetual springtime.
Anyhow, I had just entered my apartment on the 4th flr. of a 5-story apartment bldg.
The first thing that happened, was that of an incredibly loud groaning kind of sound, like a 747 was about to come thru the window.
After it had reached its loudest point, the bldg. began to shake, and it was so violent, I could not even take one step.
Waves began to roll thru the floor, as if I were at sea.
Believe me, in such an event, you can't even move anywhere; if you try to take a step, the floor moves, is moving, to such an extent, that you are unable to go anywhere: much less, grab for a towel and run out: you can't get out.

I would do anything necessary to preserve the lives of myself and my family. If that means doing it naked then I wouldn't think twice. But on the other hand, if I wan't killed instantly, then it would probably take me 10 seconds to figure out what what was going on, another 20 seconds to think of a plan of escape and a safe place to be, and another 30 seconds to grab some essentials by which time the earthquake would be over and if the roof hasn't collapsed by then, I've probably got time to put some clothes on.
I survived being in the epicentre of the earthquake that hit Newcastle Australia in December 1989 and know exactly what it's like.

I would jump up and take shelter in the door frame until things stopped shaking, then quickly get dressed or even just wrap up in a blanket and go outside.
You don't want to be running outside while everything is shaking. Especially if you're naked and wet and it's cold out.

Your question makes the assumption that, like the rest of the house collapsed so you are forced to exit from the bathroom. I think it's more likely I would run through my bedroom and grab some clothes if it was cold outside.
I don't even wanna know how you came up with "people won't give you clothes or cover". That's just wrong.
As far as anyone seeing me naked, though-I just figure that's their problem : )

I'd run out. But I generally have towels, and my robe in the bathroom when I shower. Hard to dry yourself off if you don't have a towel. I know, I know, you're asking me to pretend.

I would have to think twice about running outside naked.
It would be kinda difficult to save a person's life while they're asking me to marry them.
