Will those who were not aborted then see that the elderly are no longer a use to society and are a parasite that drains resources?
Will the survivors use their right to choose to remove those that take from their society?
Will their lead argument be, "It is our country you cannot tell us what to do?"
God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap. If you kill you will be killed. God is just, and he will insure that vengance is taken for the sake of the murdered babies.

Born Again Atheist -- I know plenty of women who have had abortions. Most of them are now very sorry and repentive for their Sin. God is a God of mercy, but you will have not of it.

Tuberoot -- Hey I have made plenty of collosal interpretation blunders. On the general principal of 'reap to the flesh will reap destruction' I am pretty confident the understanding is clear.
Paul reaped what he sowed. He persecuted the church, and he was the most persecuted Apostle. What comes around goes around. It is a universal principal.

Sketic -- when your dimentia sets in, and they are deciding whether or not to remove you from this world, they will say the same things about you. He cannot feel it, does not understand, so the argument is moot, kill him.

They will get their justice. Probably not in man's court, but they will have to answer to a higher authority. God will take care of the innocents that have been destroyed.
"Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord.On the contrary: 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.' Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.'"
We must give them a chance to repent of their actions, and we should love them, not condemn them to an eternal punishment. God will take care of those who do not come to Him. We just need to pray that God's wrath is not on as many people as it could be, if it happened today.
BTW - Toadaly - Have you been in a nursing home lately? Those wonderful people couldn't even lift up a gun. Just hope that this question doesn't become a reality and those that support the murder of innocents end up incapacitated in a nursing home.

You have missed the argument entirely.
Before 22 weeks (when the neo-cortex begins to develop), a fetus can neither think nor suffer or even care if it was aborted.
EDIT:
Dementia doesn't cut it. A person with dementia can still think and suffer. It is only when some one is without the neo-cortex that they would be this way (such as the infamous Teri Shivo (sp?)).
Besides, the moral thing to do would be to say that we never take away the rights of human personhood once they are granted. It's that easy.
(I hope you are concerned with doing the moral thing here. After all, you wouldn't want to make peoples lives miserable by taking away reproductive freedom just to "save" something that is no more capable of thought or suffering then an insect, like a fetus before 22 weeks).

If you understand that text without context is error, you might want to read a bit of what is around those verses about sowing and reaping.
It's about giving to God.
And also, you might want to humble yourself to the Lord a bit and realize that those who are in Christ will not reap what they sow according to the sins they are guilty of. Like you for instance, taking the word of God out of context and trying to teach an erroneous doctrine the way you are.
Sinners who are saved by grace sow death, yet reap life everlasting because we trust God through Jesus Christ.
You might want to pay attention more to what you are willing to say, Just my opinion.

Those are some wise words. Like like when corinthians says "He who rejects Gods word is hardening his own heart." and also "If you sow to the flesh you will reap from the flesh but if you sow to the Spirit you will reap from the Spirit things of the Spirit"
But all should know abortion is murder for once a child is a day old and concieved in the womb that child has a soul and his or her place in heaven or hell and therefore murder they will reap what they sow inevitably.

I'm against involuntary euthanasia, but all for voluntary euthanasia, which I'm pretty sure you're also against. What it comes down to, for me, is having control over my own body and my own life. If you want to believe that your body and life belong to some "god," that's your right. Just don't expect the rest of us to live according to your beliefs.

The elderly are already viewed that way. This society values youth, and strength. The aged have already been cast aside.
God does not exist.
Abortion is fine.

No, they'll have lil babies growing in their gardens.
The statement "God is just" is laughable. Have you actually read the Bible?

Nope. My mum is of a generation which sanctioned abortion, I survived that generation, and I assure you nobody is euthanizing my mum. For anything. I trust my kids will feel the same way.
