The weather does make a difference. I have a little 2 year old with me most of the time. If the weather is good, I always return it no matter how far it is. Because my little one loves it when I run with her in the cart. (then I carry her back to the car) But if the weather is bad, (raining HARD or blizzard-like) I have been known to leave it at the front of the parking stall. But I do make sure it won't roll and hit someones car.

I always take the cart back.

I always think about all the people trying to pull into parking spaces and there are carts in empty spaces, carts rolling around the parking lots hitting cars...I made it a point to not be like that.

I always return my shopping cart to an appropriate pickup place. Not only is it rude not to, but the cart also gets in other people if left elsewhere. If a person can roll it out of the store they can certainly put it where it belongs.

And I'm disabled, too. So if I can do it then there's no good reason why others can't.

i can understand your annoyance at somebody parking next to the corral yet nevertheless leaving the cart interior the parking spot. some thing like this is only lazy and thoughtless. yet there additionally are cases while its an inconvenience for us to return the cart to the corral, if there even is one. And Im on no account going to depart my young ones on my own interior the motor vehicle on an analogous time as I walk the cart back to its living house. yet while i bypass right into a keep, i'm going to take a cart thats abandoned interior the lot as a substitute of waiting till I attain the keep (as many do).

It's just polite to return your cart. You pushed it out that far, the least you can do is put it in a spot that makes it easier for the employees to collect them. Besides, I would be pretty mad it someone dented my car by leaving their cart. Try to have the same consideration for others. In short, put the cart where it goes, however far that may be.

usually only 2 - however when I park, I try to find a spot that is close to the cart return... it's easier to return the cart when I'm done - and I can get one easily when I take back all my returnables - when you are parked closer to the cart return area you are less likely to get you can hit by a "runaway"!!!

also - if everyone returned their carts... that would be one less job for the economy - what would happen to the people employed who bring the carts in????

I always return my cart but I try to park as close to the cart return places as possible so that I don't have to walk far. Or I make my kids do it.

I simply put it out of the way of my door and the other parking spots so it doesn't block others...
If it's windy or on a slope where it will roll around and possibly hit another vehicle ~ I put it in a cart thingy (if there is one), or prop it against a light pole.
It does'nt matter if I'm with someone or not.
It drives me crazy when people leave them to bang, dent, and scratch other people's vehicles!! I don't want it done to mine ~ so I will not just shove it and go.............

I usually return mine to the cart corral. They have enough corrals, it's never very far. If it's really ,really blowing and cold, I have been known to just leave the cart.
