I am in school to become an anthropologist, and I have to ask this question out of wonder, not disrespect. It is hard for me to grasp a faith that overtly demeans its followers. What are the ideologies that are taught to little girls?
Do you (presumably a Muslim moderate) value death more than life?

My mom's birthday is in like 3 days and my sister and I have no idea what to get her. She is a very difficult person to shop for. She has been saying that she is going to get a blender because doesn't eat enough fruit because she just doesn't like it unless its in a smoothie and I guess she forgot she was going to get one... i dont know. A blender seems like it is just something that you give to a newly wed couple. But I guess I can give her that now and a more meaningful gift at Christmas. What do you think?

I think that's why I come here when I'm bored or don't have anything to do because I can't tell people I know , they are all Christians and they would not be happy including my whole family..I feel alone cause in the real world I don't know anyone else that feels the way I do. So I guess comming here and seeing there are other people that feel the same way makes me feel less alone..Am I the only one that hides their non-belief from their family and friends?

I have a nieghbor that seems to get off making my husband feel like a piece of S&%$% because he works for a temp agency doing pretty much anything to pay the bills and support his family!!! The nieghbor keeps saying how he wouldn't do this or that , he is over qualified BLAH BLAH but yet the nieghbor has same size family as we and is sitting on his duff not supporting his family (whining they have no money) because he waiting for what he is qualified doing (which is working on computers which most everyone I know, knows how to do) Grrrr

I'm in a situation right now where I need to get a new job in the next week or else I will be close to broke for the next 6 months definitly (work permit) and unable to pay my debts back like I want to...its complicated why I am asking this..its to do with my work permit in this country i live in..

Lately, I've been in a situation where I just want to give up on things. I can't seem to get things to go my way and it is really hard to keep running the course to a point where I want to give up. Why would anybody walk around with an instrument of torture and death around their necks? A lot of decent poeple died by the guillotine also. Do you think I should wear a guillotine around my neck.?
And if you came back from the dead, do you really think your instrument of death is what you would want to see poeple wearing?
