Cheaply venal, stupidly verbose.
A slip of the tongue, a slit of the throat.
Six feet under with no marker.
Keep my name from your mouth forever.
Free speech for the living, dead men tell no tales.
Your laughing finger will never point again.

claim it is the truth, and you have a religion. That's why we have so many different branches of Christianity all with the illusion that they are telling the truth.

Why or why not?

I know they believe they can become gods of their own world after death, but does that just simply mean they become god-like and not true gods, or does it mean they become real actual gods equal to the one true God?
If they do believe in becoming true gods, doesn't that kind of contradict the whole "thou shalt have no other gods before Me" thing in the Bible?
Even Genesis states that God created the universe--that a singular god created a singular universe, so wouldn't that mean there could only be one God?
I'm not trying to contradict anything here, I'm just trying to understand this for myself. Thanks, and no offense to anyone of the Mormon faith.

That is, Christians have been entrusted by God to deliver His message of salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.

As it is written:
Jews that proclaim the Law of God dishonor God through breaking the law, and the name of God is blasphemed among Gentiles because of them. (Romans 2:23-24)

Yet, did not God choose and bless the Jews, because to them were committed the oracles of God.

In like-manner:
The name of God is blasphemed among atheists and other non-Christians because of the words and behaviors of Christians.

So, back to my question:
Why would God entrust His perfect message to the world, the Gospel, into the hands of imperfect vessels – even sinful humans?

DO God need to repeat the opening to the Red Sea for His people ( ie the Christians ) today before the Christians can exercise faith?

1) If not, why is it necessary to have signs and wonders (S & W) in the Charismatic churches today?

2) Do you think the S & W today are for real or from Satan, the angel of light - working miracles through his ministers who pretends to be ministers of righteousness (2 Cor 11:14-15)??

How about a prayer for hope to those who are less fortunate this coming holiday season? Be it food, loneliness, poor, homeless.

I just thought something positive and useful could help us all in this section. Anyone agree?

Why don't more believers use ontological arguments? Seriously, they just sound stupid and uneducated when they use faith or "feeling God's presence" as an explanation. Also ontological proofs make more sense, and the followers would be taken more seriously.

is it because they can not make it into heaven with out it. So they look to there friend to die for them, saying he will rise in 3 days anyway. You praise his name aragontly. Acts 17:23. You sing thank you jesus for the cross, pick your song book and do not change. He died so I can keep sinning you say and live with his grace. The cross was not needed to get into heaven, you just had to be as perfect as Jesus. But you all die in sin. You can "become" perfect and die in righteousness.

You sing and praide the blood around you, he live's,he live's. Not knowing that he had to die to do this stupid miracle. You sing joyfully as he suffers for you. Hurray he lets me sin, yippy, dancing around singing hallalua for the cross. I get to go to heaven. If you really cared for heaven you would have become perfect like him in his righteousness and die or be taken as a righteous person. Not as a sinner with sin not defeated in your life.

I have a good friend who has just turned 'born again', she is basically stopped using her brain and logic. Its sad to see her full of guilt, regretting all the little 'sin' she has done in the past e.g. go to the bar, flirt with guys... she also makes me feel i am 'bad' and 'sinner'.. I can't be with people of this mentality, living based on fear - the lowest frequency of emotion. Should i just cut her off because i don't want to be friend with a brain dead? (she is no longer the former person anymore, she talks to God while washing dishes)..
