is it because they can not make it into heaven with out it. So they look to there friend to die for them, saying he will rise in 3 days anyway. You praise his name aragontly. Acts 17:23. You sing thank you jesus for the cross, pick your song book and do not change. He died so I can keep sinning you say and live with his grace. The cross was not needed to get into heaven, you just had to be as perfect as Jesus. But you all die in sin. You can "become" perfect and die in righteousness.

You sing and praide the blood around you, he live's,he live's. Not knowing that he had to die to do this stupid miracle. You sing joyfully as he suffers for you. Hurray he lets me sin, yippy, dancing around singing hallalua for the cross. I get to go to heaven. If you really cared for heaven you would have become perfect like him in his righteousness and die or be taken as a righteous person. Not as a sinner with sin not defeated in your life.

well for the record, i think your perception of us is a little off.

Jesus died and rose again for your sins because we cannot become perfect. From the moment we first sin, we are stained forever and cannot redeem ourselves. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. But He DID NOT die so we could continue sinning. He died so we could be forgiven, so that we could spend eternity with Him. He wants to spend eternity with us because He loves us. He loves us because He created us.

We do not sing joyfully because He suffered. We sing gratefully. Jesus CHOSE to die and to suffer. He KNEW what was going to happen and what he would go through, and He STILL DID IT. And then, HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD!

That is why we celebrate. We are eternally grateful.

There are several points to address. First is that while if we are able to live a perfect life we would have no need for Jesus to die for us. None of us have, Romans 3:23. The wages of sin is death, Romans 6:23. This is a debt that non of us can pay, but blood can forgive those sins, Hebrews 9:22. Animals could not do it, Hebrews 10:1-4 so Jesus became the perfect (Hebrews 4:15) sacrifice for us, Hebrews 10:10. This is why people are excited because Jesus paid the debt for us. When we are united with His death we are then forgiven of our sins (debt), Romans 6:3-13. Notice as you said, we aren't freed from sin to sin again. NO, we are freed to stop sinning, 1 John 2:1-2. If we mess up we should as that passage states return to Jesus and try again. But if we keep in our sins all we are doing is crucifying Jesus again and we have no right to His salvation, Hebrews 6:4-6. In this point you are correct.

Well, in a morbid way, you are correct.
But you are missing one major point:
Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.
As long as we remain in this flesh, we cannot attain to anything.
The fact that we are alive means that we are not worthy of heaven. So, yes, even just breathing keeps us from the perfection of Jesus Christ.
We cannot attain His perfection in this life, in this world.
We rely on the sacrifice of Jesus to allow His blood to cover our sins. It's only by His blood that we become righteous.

The only way to our God is through his son Lord Jesus Christ. He didn't die so you could keep sinning and no one that is reborn in Christ celebrates when they do sin. Sin is in our nature since the beginning of time but we are never truly happy or blessed unless we are walking in God's word. We will never be perfect but we can strive to be more Christ-like in our daily lives.

Or... you can hate and loathe your sin, love the Blood because without it you would be damned to hell for your sin, humble yourself and recieve the blood knowing that you are hell bound without it, and therefore live your life dieing to self daily, claming the blood as your agent of righteousness. Jesus never would have died if it were possible to be as perfect as he was. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!
