Comic relief- I think I am good at cheering people up with humor when their lives get tough.
Plus I have a very keen sense of empathy. I am very good at making people feel instantly at ease with me. Strangers tell me their problems all the time. I feel if it helps them to do so, that is my purpose, to listen, respond and care- with humor thrown in as well. That is my purpose in life.

Janis you can't go from zero plans to huge panoramic plans and expect to succeed. Do you want to do broadcast journalism or do you want to do health education? Trying to go from zero to doing both is just plain ridiculous, the best organized, most motivated, smartest person in USA could not possibly pursue broadcast journalism and health education at the same time from a standing start. I'm not sure journalism is the "entertainment" industry. I was a journalist for several years but I can't tap dance, or sing, and you must know that everybody in the "entertainment" business can do both of those things. All I can do is find facts and and write, and very rarely go on air to report what I've found. Health education is a broad field, with a lot of opportunities. You may wish to go that route. You will find it easier to get work, since both journalism and and entertainment are very highly competitive, not to say cut-throat, fields. You will also find it easier to get credible training in health education, which I think you could do at your local community college. Credible here means your degree would have some value to get you an interview. For journalism, or entertainment, you would need a heck of a lot more than an undergrad degree to get an audition. You would need a Master's in Journalism (or English), or a MFA in performing arts. With a 5 year old to take care of, you can't load yourself with impossible tasks, even if you have the money to pay for all those graduate schools. Keep it simple. Get your AA is health education, then see what's possible in your town, or state.

I was told back in 2001. But it was only last year when so much was told to me and confirmed. I know what my real purpose in life is and this is something that I'm doing now i.e. laying the groundwork.

I'm a Spiritual healer and a writer, I have many clairvoyant gifts which is vital in everyday life. I found out last week that I had inadvertently saved someones life.

People ask about meaning and purpose of life almost constantly. That type of question is, by far, the most common on YA.

If we accept that God might exist, then we can see that He must have put that great need for purpose into our human nature in order to point us to Him. That leads to the immediate conclusion that our purpose is to seek our Creator.

It is the Christian idea that we seek God by trying to obey His command to love our neighbor. For where love is, there God is also. An experience in trying to help our neighbor is the experience of God. Go out each day asking God to show Himself to you through those you have contact with that day.

Well, let's see. I've raised and nurtured two kids. Raised them till they became loving, honest adults.
I have nurtured and cuddled 2 beautiful grandkids, and they know I am available whenever they need someone to talk with.
And I've taught children at church, twice a week, sometimes three times. They also know I am available.

Yep, since my talent is being there for - and with - kids, I have found my purpose. I've made it there, and I keep on making it there.

I hate to even say, it sounds kind of pretentious or phony or something, but I am on a path, some kind of journey to understanding, and I feel that I need to teach, to help, to heal.
Part of it is that I make healing wands for those who need some kind of spiritual help on their own journeys. They are meditation aids, something that you hold in your hands to help direct your thoughts, sort of like prayer beads. I have made them for people who are reaching a crossroads in their lives, for people who have cancer, for all kinds of people who are seeking. Each one takes a long time, sometimes months before they are finished.
I do not know here my journey will lead me, but it is like the saying, the journey IS the destination.

My real purpose is TO live my life on Purpose, to use my mind to process life. To understand how I came to be and how it will end....I came to this world with nothing and I will leave with nothing...When I was able to understand that...
I was able to give away
The sun mindlessly lives in service it lives on purpose and gives ....I live my live grateful in peace with ALL MY Relations......My purpose is to purposely to LOVE life and to show that love purposely in my kindness, my joy my humanity and most of all in my spirituality and in my service to others and to this earth. To be authentic and peaceful with all my relations.. I was born with the purpose not to crawl......
I was born to the image and likeness of my Heavenly Father with a destiny to SEE his face....My purpose is to grow in the highest of holiness, I try to do that by purposely choosing the Spirituality of Saint Francis and That of the Native American People.
Thank you I have not written my ideas of my purpose of. life in a long time

Yes, I do - every single day! I don't know if I made it there yet or not, but I do know that I was successful in attaining my goals!

I ask G-d every day why He put me here! Hopefully, before I get too much older, He will let me know! CJ

I don't know if I'll ever make it there completely in this life. I'm a work in progress, but I know I hope to leave this world a little better place for having had me in it. ---Luvs
