maybe a leather wallet or belt, or mens spa products, or maybe a really cool picture frame w/a pic of the family, or it's really easy to make a lamp(they can help with that at the home depot), or you can make a rice heating thing for his sore muscles...check out these cool websites, you'll find something :)

A book of gift certificates. Make them for things like:

you will wash his car
you will make breakfast
you will help with yard work
you will babysit your brother
you will take out the garbage

You could make one for each month of the year.
You could also make him a calendar, draw pictures related to that month or trace them or cut out of magazines or use personal photos. You can print the months from the Internet for free.

If he is a mechanical type or does something that gets his hands dirty , you could make him a really good hand scrub to help his hands get clean.... It's easy to make with sugar and aloe vera gel and vitamin E oil just mix it together and it put it in a jar. I did this for my boyfriend and he loves it, it needs to be medium not too soupy and not to rough. Or you could make him a photo album, print out some pictures of the family off of your computer and modge podge it to the outside of the photo album............. I dunno hes ur dad, Hope this helps:)

How about knitting a really nice scarf? Or making some really good peanut brittle or Christmas Biscotti (see Martha Stewart)?

A photo album of memories you shared with your dad and write something special, funny, etc. or about the experience under each picture.

It depends on if the wallet looks like a $20 wallet. Maybe go to a fabric store, buy a green day packer (or team color) fabric and make a blanket for him.

Write him a poem, or a book about what you think about your relationship with him. Or make him a music cd of what you like mixed with what he likes, bringing the two generations together.
