Is it true that the man who published the book of mormon
tried to disprove Joe Smith by having him re-translate a page from the plates??? which I understand he failed at doing

doesn't the fact that no one having seen the stones or the where abouts of the stones now raise some questions

I have heard that other 3 tenses, there are 12 tenses in English language, like past perfect, past continuous etc. Can I get a link to see table of these tenses with examples.

I value real education not bs. When YOU got out of school, a highschool diploma could actually get you somewhere. Now it can only get you working at Mc Donald's. Now you have to go to school at least 6 years to make a decent living. We have to take bs courses that are little more than propaganda courses. The education system is a joke; they want us to take bs courses that will not help us, only so that the beaurocrats on top generate profits. I only go to college so that I will not end up on the streets; it is not because of the joy of the overglorified brainwashing device known as "education".

If God isn't real then explain how people are healed on the spot when being prayed over, and explain how the holy spirit isn't real, because I've experienced this. I've seen people get healed before my eyes, when I went on a trip to Mexico, we prayed over a lady with a bent spine and it straightened out right in front of me. I felt it with my hand. and I've experienced the holy spirit. its like feeling alone with him and being in his presence and you feel like you could do anything and that you feel great but humble in front of him. it's an awesome feeling!!

Through out ages, people have longed for world peace. They wish for peace. The inanity behind their desire blinds the truth. The only peace is found in death. World peace is equivalent to the end of the world. Open your eyes. See the world for what it is, not for what it isn't. One side is real, the other is just a reflection. Do you see what I see?

Only pray the Lord's prayer, for God already knows what you need. (Matthew 6:7-13)
Pray for whatever you want: "If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14); "If you ask anything of the Father, he will give it to you in my name." (John 16:23)
BUT it doesn't matter anyway, because "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) and "We know that God does not listen to sinners." (John 9:31)

I am a Christian, and have been one my entire life. I believe what I believe because it is truth to me. I can't explain or rationalize that, but I cannot refuse what I believe. It breaks my heart, though to see other Christians make condemning statement to others who don't believe. I want to repent on behalf of all Christians for our narrow view of the rest of the world, our condemnation and judgment of people who don't believe what we believe, and our better than thou attitude about knowing truth. These attitudes do not reflect the Character and Person of Jesus that the bible describes. He was accused by the religious folk of hanging around and befriending "sinners, prostitutes, tax collecters", basically the scum of society. He also had lot's of time for regular folk like you and I. I also apologize for my own mistakes in this area. I have not been a perfect representation of who Jesus really was.

I think Americans don't know what there European cousins have because we forgot that those of us that have European blood have alot to be proud of and need to celebrate it as of other people do who are not of European blood ,we can learn to be proud to.

If you think no- then you cannot think that churches should be required to let homosexuals into membership or leadership roles if the denomination opposes homosexuality.

According to the Book of Genesis, God once sent a flood that killed all the land animals on the earth except for a tiny percentage that survived on Noah's boat. These were the same animals that he himself had created, and they had behaved according to the natures he had given them. Despite this, he decided to kill them.

I hope that nobody is dumb enough to think that God had to kill these animals in order to kill human beings. Someone with God's powers could have easily found a way to kill the humans without killing these animals too.

So why did he kill them?

you believe that we are born imperfect due to Adams and Eves sins. and thats why we can become ill.

what i would like to know is who created all the viruses and diseases that make us ill? did God create them or is it our fault as we are imperfect and God had/has no influence on it? i mean they must come from somewhere
