I value real education not bs. When YOU got out of school, a highschool diploma could actually get you somewhere. Now it can only get you working at Mc Donald's. Now you have to go to school at least 6 years to make a decent living. We have to take bs courses that are little more than propaganda courses. The education system is a joke; they want us to take bs courses that will not help us, only so that the beaurocrats on top generate profits. I only go to college so that I will not end up on the streets; it is not because of the joy of the overglorified brainwashing device known as "education".

this is partly why I dropped out of faculty. i'm now attempting to bypass lower back, yet I nonetheless experience a similar. I even ought to have 4 semesters of a overseas language. Which i'm getting will be efficient with the starting to be Spanish speaking inhabitants, even though it has no longer some thing to do with my container of learn. There are a pair different criteria that i have self belief a similar way about. Its like, enable me basically take the instructions that genuinely pertain to what i want to earnings. yet, on the different hand, this is sturdy to have a nicely rounded area of comprehend-how. only for existence. HS diplomas arent nicely worth a lot immediately because everybody has them. We pushed staying in college a lot that now everybody has a hs degree, so the subsequent problem is a 4 12 months degree. contained in the arrival decade, i imagine a similar will ensue back. we are pushing everybody to have atleast a 4yr degree, that quickly, everybody may have one and then they'll want masters. they want a larger element of practise bc it shows you may stick by ability of it to finish a objective that different applicants cant. Its a thanks to tell apart the better efficient workers from the 'no longer so better efficient' workers.

How else are colleges, counties, states, etc. going to make money? So of course the system is a joke. You take the courses they say you must as prerequisites to other courses, and the tests so they can rack up the dough.

Another fun topic is a county or state thumbing their nose at reciprocity for EMS or nursing certificates or degress from NREMT courses or other states nursing boards.

It's a load one must chew well to avoid choking on it.
