What a great question ! For me it was the way they danced around missing links and holes in thier 'theories'..I could'nt find the glue I needed to put all of their 'ideas' together ..And then when I seen with my own eyes the whole , poodle bones into dinosaur thing ..I began to research and study on my own , every religion, science, theory, faith , and belief out there..My future is very important to me and where I am going just as well...And what struck me as truth was the 'bible' being phrophetic in nature ..I've read it 3 times thru ..Do people really not understand , and I see they pick and choose there verses for there own gain ? how silly can you be and even misquote scripture without even knowing the true meaning of the verses they are questioning..It astounding to me how 'daft' people are.....what about all of the history, artifacts, archeological finds..Do they simply just sweep it under the rug? Insane ....And in there world seeing is believing ...that's a laugh in and of itself...I would say without a doubt that they (evolutionists) have more faith than we.....Great question friend , have fun with all of your answeres....You're a brave soul! And I admire that quality.......

Biology 101 - many many moons ago.
I was a "functional atheist" at the time - the existence or non-existence of God was totally irrelevant to me, so this was really just the "start" of my journey. I saw it took an awful lot of faith to accept some of the major tenets - an observation that only grew as I continued in my education.
I started looking into the alternative theories - the interpretations of the shared evidences and - long story short - "here I stand, I can do no other. God help me - Amen."

You realize you're directing this at ALL christians since everyone is born without theism and therefore all begin life as atheists.

And the single greatest piece of evidence in favor of evolution may be that critics have to lie to make their argument.

"Nothing has ever been recorded evolving ........just adapting to its environment."

See what I mean? This person just said "nothing has been recorded evolving" then gave a near perfect definition of evolution as evidence against evolution.

How sad that school was wasted on some people. I weep for the guy who completely missed how astronomical measurements are made. He missed the mark completely.

Did you know that there are 12 year olds who are able to make and understand these measurements which are based on the position of the earth at different times of the year? And NOT the distance to a previously measured star. I truly feel sorry for you.

LOL, that's funny that the first guy said Engineering, for that is what I was going to say.

Engineering, science and space is actually what made me re-think it. But not till after I had what I can only claim as 3 divine gifts to wake me. For I still cannot explain them with reason, logic nor science. But all 3 are in the bible.

What really got me... was measuring stars. We use a triangle and figure up the one angel and get the distance, basic geometry, fine, easily grasp it. So they draw a triangle from a star, to earth and then to the star they are measuring. Yet I ask... how did you get that first star measurement to use as part of the triangle? Oh, from this stars measurement. Okay... and where did you get that one? Oh this star measurement... Okay.. and that one? see where this is going? How did you measure the distance in the first place to even start to use the triangle to figure up the distance?

Its a loop in math few catch till you get into a math career such as engineering.

I am not a christian, but there are some seriously large holes in the theory of evolution - that does not mean that biblical creationism is the answer, is just means that we probably don't know what the answer is yet

for me, I don't care at all - however we got here won't effect how I live today

I don't wholly believe that evolution is a lie.

I change my mind about how evolution got rolling and put into effect.

Engineering school (I don't necessarily think it is a lie, I think there is a chance it is true but that chance is so small it is scientifically impossible).

evolution is not right

God made things to adapt.........not change into a higher life form

Nothing has ever been recorded evolving ........just adapting to its environment.

We all have put in us the ability to adapt.....not evolve.
