I know Family planning is haram and is forbidden in Islam until and unless there is a harm to mother's life. But in China where there are many muslims too and They have this law of not having more than 1 child, what shall they do in this regard?

Secondly,if a mother is healthy enough to give birth to lets say 8 children, but they can look after 4 children in appropriate and better way, taking care of their clothes, education, food, shelter etc but not 8 because the money would not be sufficient and Family would not be able to live peacefully,as some sort of tensions and complex would take place as not EVERYONE IS GOOD AT THANKING ALLAH FOR WHATEVER HE HAS GIVEN TO THEM. [I say Alhumdolillah I'm really happy and thankful to him for whatever little he has given to me.] What shall be done in this case??? As I also believe that when Allah has given birth, then He is the one who will provide food and shelter!

I often get the urge to sleep after my lectures end (12:30PM every day) if I stay up very late the night before. I recall someone telling me that sleep is a valid reason for missing Salah, which I have my doubts about.

If one was to miss Salah for the purpose of sleep, are we allowed to make it up in Qada prayer?

At church the other night the pastor was out and someone stood in, he spoke on faith, some of what he said didn't sit well with me, at least the way I took it, he's a great man so no offence to him. I was inspired though to show what I think and see what other people(even non christians) think about faith in christianity. Should be eye opening.

Faith - wikipedia style -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faith
To commit oneself to act based on sufficient evidence to warrant belief, but without absolute proof[1]. Mere belief on the basis of evidence is not faith. To have faith involves an act of will. For example, many people saw Blondin walk across the gorge below Niagara Falls on a tightrope, and believed (on the basis of the evidence of their own eyes) that he was capable of carrying a man on his back safely across. But only his manager Harry Colcord had enough faith to allow himself to be carried.

What is Christian faith based on?
I know what mine is based on...

He created his evil when he became jealous / the sin of pride? Who made that possible? Forgive me for my stupid logic, but I don't believe Satan asked to exist. In fact I don't think evil even wishes to exist. I think evil wishes to not exist. Why would God allow evil to exist among the good? Inane logic? Did goodness finally stare it's reflection?

Please note the thumbs up and the reactions to the question (it did get the best answer). I would prefer straight answers. Ad hominem attacks on me for asking the question won't work, since I do not care. I thought murder because of somebody's religious beliefs (no matter who perpetrates that act) was strictly the province of religious fanatics (as we have witnessed so many times before). You learn something new every day.

I am really really upset because Q&A, to me, is almost like having Penfriends. I happened to show my partner an e-mail that I had from a male acquaintance to a previous Q.
All of a sudden, it's suspect. I might be 'chatting' God forbid! Some MAN knows my e-mail address! Maybe I'm meeting someone, somewhere!
He has use of my computer and I like to share answers with him, so he's not blocked out as though it's my own private little world.
Why is he making me feel guilty for receiving an e-mail from someone on answers?

There are a lot of people here who are not interested in objectively scrutinizing their own beliefs/religion.

Are you one of them?

Take for example this guy who is afraid of skeptic's websites: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aqo_YIxzemgs5OzwxO03_pzsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071203091549AAAueWS&show=7#profile-info-OrFglAtjaa

And just the other day I asked if ANYTHING could rock your faith - so many people said "no"... I thought WOW, so you're admitting that your beliefs are not based on evidence, and interpretation of evidence. Isn't it scary how some people think (or don't)

We see both aspect of the christian. Where Christ is His objective righteous, where we stand before God the Father in and by Christ as our righteousness. This is our sure stand.
1 Cor 1:30
" But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom to us from God, both righteousness and sanctification and redemption"

But then we see another aspect.
Here's a verse.
Revelation 19:8
"And it was given to her that she should be clothed in fine linen, bright and clean, for the fine linen is the righteousnesses of the saints"

Is this not an amazing verse? I believe that this righteousnesses (plural) is subjective.
Please look at the references in Psa 45:13-14 if you have time. Its looks at the church as the Queen and her two garments. One outward one inward. This second garment of fine linen corrisponds with Matthew 22:11-12.
So what I'd like to know is a little bit more about the righteousnesses of the saints as the inner stitching and working of the Holy Spirit in our being.

so far you have asked atheists why they celebrate christmas, or told us that its wrong etc..something to that effect, 601 times. If 20 people answered each time that means youve been told 12,020 times that its a pagan holiday. When will you stop asking such a stupid question?

it really does show us that nothing ever sinks in with you guys.
