1) Caucasian is NOT an ethnicity its a "race" (I put it in quotations because most scientist now believe there is only one human race).
An ethnic group shares a common language, culture & history.
2) European is not an ethnicity either... for the same reasons AND because European is anybody that is a citizen of Europe including people of recent African, Latin American, Muslim & Asian origin.
3) White Americans are largely a combination of many European ethnicities... as such Americans ARE the product of blending genes which does change the look of people. If you go to Sweden... people have a certain look, in Austria its a different look etc., but in the U.S. there is a little more averaging... so if Swedes have smaller noses, chubby faces, blue eyes... and Austrians are a bit darker, have long thin noses & features... an American with both heritages might end up with blue eyes, dirty blonde hair & a medium nose. To this degree... yes an Austrian women (one with particularly severe Austrian features) might like quite distinguished compared to an average White American.
But the U.S. is so large & has such a diverse population that you will - of course - be able to find many women that could be dropped in Vienna and none of the locals would know the difference.

I suppose it depends on how long the White American's and the Austrian American's families have been here because I have noticed that Europeans usually have more defined features than White Americans and I believe that it has to do with some racial mixing of White Americans. Same usually goes for Black Americans and Africans.

No, Austrians are a nationality from Europe, & all white Americans ancestors are from Europe. A white American can also be an Austrian-American.
