No. They do not. Not if they preach acceptance and tolerance, love and forgiveness. Even if they consider it a sin, which it is not, they also believe that sin can be forgiven, so what's the deal? According to their dogma, isn't everyone a sinner?

No I do not believe any religion should refuse a homosexual from attending church (we are all sinners and have fallen short of the Glory of God, we just recognize Jesus as Savior and know He is the only way of salvation).
Being that, homosexuality is a sin is God's eyes and that would (should) exclude him or her from joining a church (being a registered member).
I have always been taught to hate the sin, love the sinner.
Bring him or her into the church and let the Holy Spirit work on their heart about their sin the same as the Holy Spirit does on anyone else's heart.

Its pretty hard to understand why they would want to - it would demonstrate an intolerance that would undermine any message of good that the religion could possibly hope to convey.

But on a more moral note, a human right is a human right. We have a right to expect them to be observed by everyone - and religion should not be an excuse or a cop out. That is simply wrong - or as the religious would put it, immoral or sinful. Indeed keeping someone from coming to god is, in many ways, the ultimate sin and it is impossible to see how someone could be forgiven for it even by the most loving of all imaginable gods.

Those who think it should be a right should ponder this - how is that different from anti semitic laws and practices that led to the holocaust (of course, I forogot, plenty of homosexuals met their end in the gas chambers too, at the hands of a man who in Mein Kampf claimed to be completing Christ's work on Earth).

Joining what? the church? Or preaching at the church? or teaching Sunday school?? Well look at it like this. The bible (our rule book) says that the ACT of homosexuality is a sin. So is drinking or lying or stealing and a whole lot more. So would it be right to have a thief, or a pedophile, or a adulator 'join' the church? Now I not talking about something some one has did in the past, and are still in the process of doing. that is what you are asking. Is it OK for someone who is living in sin to join the church, I would say no, not until the sin stops.

Religions have the right to do whatever they want to. No law is written or have been passed to force any religion to do anything. In fact, the free practice of religion is a absolute right, which covers that subject.

Btw, the Amish use a practice called "shunning" in which a member of their church maybe shut out from the church. And the community.

So not only can religions decide who will be members, they can decide which members will no longer be members.

Any privately owned institution has the right to refuse membership to anyone for any reason. A place of worship is not owned by the government and is not funded by the general public, but by its members.

That's not to say that anyone who meets the requirements of membership in any church, association, or group should be rejected. But the organization legally reserves that right.

As a member of a Christian church, we are willing to accept anyone who professes faith in Christ as their Savior.

Yes, they do. Now hear me out before attempting to crucify me.

You can't pick & choose which religious edicts you like and which you don't like. If you choose a specific religion to follow, then you follow it. If that religion considers homosexuality to be an aborition, then YOU'VE chosen the wrong religious sect. There are countless ones out there to learn about and to follow. You need to pick the one that is right for YOU. You don't pick one that isn't right for you and then try to change it to fit you.

Lets just say that to join a Christian Church you need to abide by the rules of Christianity, if you don't then how would you join?.

LDS would not baptize an active homosexual unless he promises to remain chaste and follow what is natural to humans.

As long I have the right to refuse any Christians for working for me then yes.

Yes. They have a right to refuse admittance to anyone who does not share their beliefs and will not agree to uphold the denominations' constitution or articles of faith.
