I keep seeing these threats from those that "think" they have a right to property in the Southwest.

I think they are empty threats.

Your thoughts?

i understand what you all have said. but why did he tell his other bestfriend and not me. and if it is because i dont agree with it then why do they talk in code in front of my face. i kinda knew that this is what the secret was but i wasnt positive. yes i know it was a guy. the text was from a person with a guys name. its just irritating. and every since this started we have spent less time together and have been somewhat falling apart. we only get together to do homework now. i dont know how to act around him now that i know. he is going to be at my house in less than 2 hours and i dont know what to say to him. he knows i will accept him for it. we have been friends for so long. he should know that. how do i act in front of him.

In ancient times myths were used to explain natural phenomenon as well as origins. This may sound primitive however the same practice is used today only it’s called science. Science is much more accurate yet the same principle applies. I believe religion and science have replaced myths because they are the same thing is essence. Perhaps in a hundred years our current scientific hypothesizes will be considered primitive. Religion and science overtaken the same purposes that creation mythology once occupied because they are nearly the same.

Ok this is weird but it's really bothering me. Today, I was in the changeroom after gym with the other girls. Suddenly the gym teacher (a dude) came in!! He said he was checking if anyone was still inside so he could lock it. Then he stood there for like TEN SECONDS before he left. It was really weird but should I care?
(i didnt know what category to put this under)

Would anyone actually expect non-Christian friends to go specially hand pick an individual card for them that said "Christmas" instead of one from the boxed set they bought that said "holiday" as not to offend the recipient...

want everyone to believe what they believe? We either believe in Freedom of Religion or we don't....we can't have it both ways.

Although we join forces to help out the needy in third world countries, I have come to the conclusion that we forget about our neighbors. I feel moved by the Lord to open up a no-charge clothing shop to the public. As I began my research, for my proposal, I found few shops, and the shops I did find have eligibility requirements. So my question is, "What happens to those who need, but are not eligible?" "Who are we to put requirements on those who need?" "Would you rather donate your clothes to a resale shop or a mission shop such as the one I am looking to open?" I would appreciate your feed back answering any or all of my questions. Your comments are also appreciated. Thank you in advance and may God keep you.

So, if I were to bring the Bible into school for reading (we have to have a fiction novel, you see), would that count?

My daughter has a cousin she just heard from who's in Iraq. He told her there is a program for injured soldiers from Iraq to get Christmas cards. All they ask is that when people are filling out their Christmas cards to simply add one extra to their list. If every person would send just one card it would be so wonderful for those who have no family. They ask that a card (no money, just a card) is sent to:
A Recovering American Soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center

Where does the bow go on a wreath? I got into a bit of a squabble with an older woman in my office because I moved the bow on the wreath at the office. I think the bow should go at the bottom, which allows the green part to show. She got seriously angry with me and told me it went at the top. She wouldn't speak to me all day and I found out later that she MADE the wreath and that she was badmouthing me around the office. She was such a wreck, that I finally apologized for moving the bow. I told her I put it back where she wanted it and I apologized for hurting her feelings. Her response was a very snotty "Since you don't like it the way I created it, I'll just take it down." Sure enough, this morning it was gone. Not another word from her about it and she was all trying to be my best friend. Was I wrong in this? Any suggestions on how I could have handled it better? I was just stunned by her behavior.

I need links to articles about religion in school. Mostly about it being punished, ot it not being punished.

I'd prefer a reputable sourse. I am writting a paper on it.

I think its wrong to take religious things away from kids. Unless it is being distracting like any other non school thing. ( it shouldnt be counted as special)

i was raised in a nuetral family. meaning, i wasnt forced to believe in anything. religion, or science. the reason why i ask questions like the ones ive been asking, is because christians seem to know everything. therefor i want details. theyre always trying to get me to believe what they believe. im not athiest, agnostic, satanic, muslim, etc. i refuse to label myself.
