The United States Of America started out as a country that believed separation of church and state. Reading the recent headlines in the news has told us that praying in school is not allowed. Isn't that not separation of church and state???? The government or state that is making laws that state our children should not prey in school, what has happened to our country basic beliefs in freedom? Look at the rest of the world, they die over their religious beliefs, do we want that for our country????

I agree....I always feel so uncomfortable when someone tells me how religious they are and everything and it makes me feel they are forcing their views on me.....
...like I might be having a everyday conversation with someone and just want to keep things on the business at hand not hear about their religion ....especially when they go on and on about it....and instead of being a good thing...feels like a depressing thing....

On that note, if you are giving someone unwanted sexual attention and it is sexual harassment, shouldn't we have religious harassment when people are pestering you about religion in a manner that you do not want and makes you uncomfortable... I don't push my science based beliefs on the religious, why can't they leave me alone, especially if they are such good people??

This isn't a country, it's a website. There are people here from all over. Anyway, I agree that there are too many bigots around.

Everyone has the freedom to believe in the USA and on this message board.
What they do not have is the freedom to legislate a theocracy.

I don't like it but i understand it if your passionate about something you want to share it with people for instance I keep trying to get my friends to watch buffy the vamp slayer because i love it and want to share it with them but they think I'm a loser and don't want anything to do with my seven season collection so I understand and try my hardest not to push. make sence?

It has nothing to do with it. It's in the Constitution. So believe it or not in America it's the law.

I agree you have freedom of religion. However if you choose wrong you go to Hell. I want everyone to be Christians because I love every one of you and don't want anyone to go to Hell.
