Judaism & Christianity are from the Abrahamic Religions. Islam Claims to be from there, but it veers sharply onto another road. It Pollutes the Truth with CLAIMING that Isaac was Not the one through Whom the Promised Seed would come, and thus elevates Ismael to the front of the Class, thereby pointing all the way to Mohammad.
Suddenly a Book that is 1300 years Old is More Authentic than a Book written over 4000 years prior. Go figure.

The Abrahamic religions are the worlds three main monotheistic religions; Judaism, Chistianity and Islam. They are named the Abrahamic religions as all three stem from Abhraham and also the abrahamic covenant - the agreement/promise he made with God. Hope that helps a bit!

Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
They all trace their origins back to books attributed to Abraham.
He's the guy who was going to murder his son because he was hearing voices in his head
-OR-
The God character in Abraham's tale is a sadistic practical joker who makes Abraham nearly sacrifice his kid then gives a reprieve at the last second. ("Just Kidding, Abie! Whoa! You were really going to do it too, weren't you!)
One or the other of these two possibilities is the tale of the guy the 3 major faiths are based on.
