Why are all the atheist so determined to convert us "religious" folk from being in the Truth to becoming a monkey-lover; but when asked the question what would you let your kids do they all say make their own choice as they grow up?
Sounds to me you know you are at a loss and donot want your kids to grow up without God...

I moved in with a coworker last July (I know, mistake number one lol). She is 52, divorced, has a gambling problem and overall not a very healthy person (mistake number two). I am 23 and in college. It has been chilly here - about 45 and rainy. I turned on the heat to 64. When we were at work today she asked me to turn it to 60 when I leave the house. Well, I forgot this afternoon and left it on 65 for a few hours while I was in class. When I got home from class there was a note on the kitchen table that said "The heat was on 65. If there is going to be a problem, then you need to move out." I don't think it's that big of deal. 65 degrees is not outrageous. Am I being unreasonable?

My doctor is good but her newly appointed assistant is less than stellar. During my last visit, she didn't take write down a few important numbers and measured my weight inaccurately. Today, I called her to send a fax to my pharmacy for my prescription as well as fax a report to another doctor whom I'm seeing next week. She promised she was going to do both but when I showed up at the pharmacy, they said they hadn't received any fax from my doctor. I don't want to change my doctor because she is good and I also don't want this rather incompetent assistant to mess up with me. I just don't want her to examine me in the future. How can I resolve this smoothly? I was thinking of talking to the doctor and letting her know about my disappointment but I'm not sure how I can avoid her in the future for my exams. I'm not sure whether telling her on her face that I'd rather prefer another assistant is a good idea.

I am willing to listen. I was a cult member for more than a minute. Actually I was a member for over 20 years. So I want to know what is in it for me to believe in God again. What will it take? I have been out of the cult for better of 10 years. So what can you tell me?

Hi there, As a christian you are supposed to love your neighbour. I would like to be a christian, and have generally more love for people but People are so hard to love, They just seem to want something out of you or from you, How do you love other people or do you not? I am quite hard on people, this enables me to find out who is false and is also a way of protecting myself against people that just don't give a **** about you. Thanks.

so i asked a catholic priest and he said that christians should but they don't then he said nuns do

if you believe that the bible is the word of God why don't Christian women follow it?.. Hindu's, Seikh's, Muslim's,Orthodox Jews, and Nuns follow it why not Christians

First of all, I, nor anyone of which I know, is gay. This question arose because I read someone's answer saying that "being gay is a sin, according to the bible". Is that true? I don't see why God's texts would state such a thing, as everyone is equal and therefore nothing wrong in being homosexual. What do you guys think?
