Falling one short of the heavenly seven, six is the number of Man. Ahura Mazda has six Immortal Holy Ones to attend him.
AHURA-MAZDA Also known as AHURAMAZDA, ORMAZD, ORMIZD, MAZDA, OROMASDES
The bright and beautiful Zoroastrian Supreme God. He is so bright that a certain brand of electric light bulb is named in his honor.
As The Wise Lord and God above all other Gods, AHURA-MAZDA was — and still is — worshipped by Zoroastrians as the Creator of the Universe and Source of All Good Things. With the light bulb reference seeming so appropriate, we fondly imagine he created the Universe by flipping a cosmic light switch. 'Let there be light', in fact.
With the holy AMESHA-SPENTAS and also his sons ATAR and MITHRA providing backup, AHURA-MAZDA wages permanent war with AHRIMAN, a deity of unspeakable repulsiveness. AHRIMAN aims to devastate the universe by filling it with pure evil.
Much like GOD and SATAN, they've been battling it out for millennia, but AHURA-MAZDA has a trump card tucked up his sleeve; SAOSHYANT will show up at the last minute and put everything to rights.
Zoroastrianism was founded by Zoroaster (also known as Zarathushtra) squillions of years ago, and flourished despite being such an awkward religion to spell. Its sacred scripture, the Vesta, unfortunately perished in the Great Fire at the Library of Alexandra, and only a remnant of this fascinating text remains. This is called the Zenda Vesta, which means 'Scrap of Vesta Which Is Somewhat Charred But Still Jolly Good'.
With its monotheistic concept of GOD and ideas of good and evil spirituality, Zoroastrianism had a huge impact on subsequent religions such as Judaism and Christianity, who appear to have stolen many of its spiritual notions...

The number 6 is actually for 666 which stands for the sixth month (June), the sixth day and the sixth hour or year. For example: June 6, 2006 = 666
This is supposed to represent when the anti-christ will be born, thus making the number 6 (666) the "number of the beast".
Have a lovely rest of the evening.

actually, the devil's number is 666.
because 7 was seen as being the most holy, complete number, 6 falls just short of perfection. 3 was used in the bible to indicate emphasis, hence, 6-6-6. there's an emphasis in the incompleteness, the imperfection of Satan.
i guess the 3 for emphasis could also explain why God's number is said to be 777, even though that's not mentioned anywhere in the Bible as far as i know.

In the Bible Seven signifies completness ,but Satan falls short of this,so he is slightly incomplete ;symbolized by the number 6.In Revelation the beast that ascends from the sea has the number "666" to show that it is one of Satan's creations and is evil to the third power.Satan was a Rebelious Angel created by God with immortal Life, who allowed wrong thoughts to interfere with his service to God.He has proved himself worthy of Destruction along with his followers and this is detailed in the book of Revelation. The lake of fire that he is to be cast in means he is unworthy of a Resurection, unlike Jesus who was Resurected. This was done in Jerusalem to Criminals who murdered in cold blood in Jesus day, they had shown none of god's mercies or works befitting repentance. It was known as "Gehenna",the garbage burning area for Jerusalem.

It's not, 6 is the number of man. 666 is the mark of the beast, or more appropiately of Caeser Nero, who revelations was written about.
