Why is your religion the "truth"? Why isn't someone else's religion the truth? Or no religion? You only think it's the truth because it's what you've been spoon-fed to believe is true since birth. You've been brainwashed by society.
Atheists want to deconvert society because a world without religion would be a more tolerant... more peaceful world. Imagine a world where no Islamic extremists fly commercial airliners into skyscrapers. No Irish Catholics and Protestants killing each other over pathetically small religious differences.
Calling us "monkey-lovers" shows your ignorance about evolution. I assume you think that evolutionists believe we are descendants of monkeys, right? Wrong. We didn't descend from monkeys. Primates and humans share a similar ancestor. They are simply our closest evolutionary "cousins".
Yes, I would indeed let my kids make their own choices when they grow up. I would not indoctrinate my children into believing something without basis of fact. I wouldn't tell my children that God doesn't exist, but if they asked me I would tell them honestly that while I don't have evidence to prove otherwise I don't believe that God exists but they need to make their own decisions based on their own feelings on the issue.
As atheists why would we want our children to believe in something we don't believe in? That's absurd. That's like saying you theists want your children to be atheists. While I hope my children don't get sucked in to religious foolishness I wouldn't condemn them for it either, because at least they came to terms with their beliefs on their own without having been indoctrinated to believe something just because I or someone else believes it.

I don't get your question but I'll take a crack at it anyways. So someone asked a question about what atheist would do with their kids about religion. Many of them said they would be open minded. What's the problem there. Do you think being open minded is wrong Mr. Monkey Lover?

It insults you when people say that humans evolved from monkeys, but you think it's great that God made you out of dirt. That's a sign of an inability to think critically.
To answer your question, maybe we aren't fascist jerks and we want our children to enjoy the freedom of being able to believe whatever the hell they want.

Why would an atheist want to convert you... What do we have to gain??? We believe that you die after life...no matter what way you live.
my answer to basically the same question you asked
"Im going to not say anything about god to my kids. Whenever my kid has questions about a god... I'l tell them to look it up and make their own decision"

You pulled a dirty plum out of a hole that you speak with. First off believe whatever but don't try to get up in my face with it or put down me for not wanting to believe in it. Secondly here is my thing I adore my child and if he chooses to grow up believing in fairy tales so be it, I will still love and adore him and any other child I have cause I can actually give my child/ren unconditional love that is real.

What about this can't you understand? I don't feel it would be right to dictate my child's beliefs or lack thereof. Just because I'm not raising them to believe that god is a certainty or impossible doesn't mean crap. It just means I want them to think for themselves. I don't believe in running people's lives.

If I knew I was at a loss, why wouldn't I just convert to Christianity? Why would I hold a position that I "knew" was wrong? That doesn't make any sense.

No, we just are not damn Dictators like you are.
The horror that we'd be open and accepting enough to let our kids believe what they want. You don't understand the concept of "accepting" to you. Well, not unless it's Jesus right?
Let me go get a violin....so I can smack you with it.
Twisting people's words and views like that, you are "devil filled" aren't you. That pretend devil thing loves you.
