BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Three suspected al Qaeda militants, including two sisters, beheaded their uncle and his wife, forcing the couple's children to watch, Iraqi police said on Friday.

The militants considered that school guard Youssef al-Hayali was an infidel because he did not pray and wore western-style trousers, they told police interrogators after being arrested in Diyala province northwest of Baghdad.

The three cousins executed Hayali and his wife Zeinab Kamel at the all-boys school in Jalawlah in Diyala province, village police chief Captain Ahmed Khalifa said.

Boy, this just really shows what kind of fruit a "religion of peace" can produce in the 21st century!

Any comments?

Let's get some Christian disscussions going. Are you for Predestination or Free Will? What reasons do you have for holding these beliefs?

Do you have a ritual you follow when opening presents. Is there
one person who always wants to be 'last'? That's me!
And who hates packing everything into the car late at night to
go back home? Especially if temps are freezing.

My ex got in a wreck so now he is on a walker. He will get off it soon maybe a month. He called me right after the accident and I helped him with everything from meals to bathing cause I loved him.We got back together. that was 4 months ago .Now he is just being such a jerk. So rude.He said when he got his settlement he was going to take a trip to Amsterdam where they have the autobon and marijauna is legal and all. Its supposed to be beautiful. He told me that he couldnt take me along because i was a prude and all.I dont think Im a prude I used to work in a bar but yes some things offend me but Im not going to go up to someone and say hey stop being a prostitute or nothing like that. It really made me mad. How do I ditch this ungrateful ***?Oh yes he always goes on about his poor mother how she takes care of his house when Ive spent many a day working.scrubbing, mopping his house.Im disgusted by him.I want to dump him but not in a way so the whole town thinks Im heartless.

Not asking if you think he's 'our savior' or if you believe in god or agree with Christianity.

Just what ya generally think of him.

Where you sort of just wait it out, because you weren't too good to go to heaven, or too bad to go to hell. And I think it's when you have to do good deeds also, but I'm unsure since I'm not Catholic.

Ok, this has to do with sin, and the book of Romans (and God and His word as a whole)

So here goes:
We know that without Christ, a person is in sin. But when we accept Christ, He completely forgives all sin. So the question is, what happens when a believer sins? We know that He gently convicts us and leads us to repentance. We also know that God promises never to leave or forsake us. So, in the meantime (or at anytime) does God ever turn His face away from the believer?

Note in the OT, when God's people were sinning, God "gave them into their sin." But that was before the Holy Spirit lived in man. But now, we have the Holy Spirit.

So the ultimate question.....Does God ever, ever (at any time at all), "turn His face away" from the believer? And if so then when exactily?

It seems to me that most believers in Abrahamic religions think that the questioning, doubt, or disbelief of their "truth" is a new trend. I submit to you that disbelief in gods is older than both christianity and islam, and possibly judaism as well. Men with rational minds have always questioned the nonsensical ramblings of superstitious simpletons. As a supporting argument, I submit this question, asked over 2,300 years ago. There has never been a satisfactory answer from any deist. Answer well.

"Either God wants to abolish evil, and cannot; or he can, but does not want to. If he wants to, but cannot, he is impotent. If he can, but does not want to, he is wicked. If God can abolish evil, and God really wants to do it, why is there evil in the world?" — Epicurus

There was conclusive proof that some or all of the events in the Bible did not happen?
The question is intended to find out how central the Bible is to your faith and if you discovered that the Bible contained many fabricated stories would your faith be shaken such that may stop believing? So please don't tell us your convictions about how true the Bible is. Tell us if the Bible was not literally true would you continue to believe in God?

My teacher is cool and all, but shes a little revealing. She wears shirts and pants that are see through with no bra and a thong underneath. We recently wen swimming as a class and my teaacher cam inside of the pool. This isn't so bad...BUT SHE CAME OUT IN A BIKINI! She has her HUGE boobs nearly out of it, showing A LOT of cleavage. And to make matters worse, the boys had to change in hte same room as hte teachers, without any stalls. Me and my teacher were the last and only ones in the room and I saw her...BUTT NAKED! she is pretty good looking for 25
When we went to quebec she knocked on our door to tell us to quiet down, and u could see her bare back and her naked butt and vagina. She is 25 nd she told us she is a DD, is this appropriate?

My most recent question, along with a ridiculous story, was a little 'too informal', and, I'm sure, some folks found it somewhat odious (maybe even odorous).
"I must apologize, and from now on I will try to keep my flatulent stories to myself."

By the way, the question was ingloriously removed by the powers that be.

I am confused and sad by the way people say things that are offensive to Christians. After cycling through some of these answers people have been posting up, I've noticed a lot of Christian hate. I'm sorry if I offend anyone in anyway. I don't mean for this to seem biased, but I am just a person looking for an honest answer.

We went this morning to help decorate our church for Christmas. Some of the older ladies there were "supervising" and telling everyone what to do? It wasn't extreme, just kind of funny. It made me start thinking that a lot of people are like that...to the extreme. What do you do when you encounter someone like that?
