We went this morning to help decorate our church for Christmas. Some of the older ladies there were "supervising" and telling everyone what to do? It wasn't extreme, just kind of funny. It made me start thinking that a lot of people are like that...to the extreme. What do you do when you encounter someone like that?

Everyone has their own dream of "perfection" and most people spend considerable energy trying to achieve it, even if it means enlisting others' help.

The perfect Christmas decor for the church? Humble hearts and toleration for others.

I was married to a man like that and it was not exactly an easy way to live. He had to have his own way or else. He would abuse me and my children when things did not go his way and I had always believed in what the bible says, "Vengeance is mine. I will repay." God did make him pay. My ex's luck starting getting worse and my luck was getting better. We did get divorced and he ended up married to a woman who is trash and very jealous of me. HA!HA! He ended up with cancer and could no longer hurt me or my children. My children are grown and on their own. My ex passed away in 2001 and I sometimes wish that we could have had a better relationship if nothing more than for my children. I am married again and still sorry for all those years of being miserable.

1) You can let them walk all over you and tell you what to do.
2) You can tell them to **** off with a gesture.
3) You can refuse to be near such people.
4) You can refuse to do what they tell you do to, doing only the opposite of what they want.
5) "Ignore them till they die."

I get unbelievably upset when someone doesn't take the time to listen to others ideas! i just would ignore them and finish the job, but would still be upset.

I wait until the opportunity comes in which I can treat them in the same way that they treated me... It always does!

I usually laugh and let them have their way if it's makes them happy. For me it is more important to be happy then right.

You rejoice when they grow up and leave home, then you avoid them like the plague!
