I just want to know if atheists are okay with the idea of doing away with laws and living like the rest of the animal kingdom lives. If I am man enough to take your wife and your house like other males in the animal kingdom do all of the time, should anyone be angry at me or punish me for that? Don't most atheists who come here say that religion was created by men to control the rest of us? Since you come here seeking to free us from the bondage of religion, if I become free from religious restraint and realize that I am just another animal in the kingdom why call me evil for acting ike other animals act.
If you would deny me the right to act like every other male in the animal kingdom aren't you being hypocritical? Aren't you becoming my god and telling me how to act?

while on a short sojourn in county jail over an obviously stupid series of choices, i noticed the number of "faithful" was a constant majority. the entire dormatory would pace inside and in the courtyard in the counter-clockwise direction, usually discussing their faith as related to their charges. a minority of us, maybe ten, without verbal concensus, began to make our paths in the opposite direction. eventually we all began talking to each other and realized, or verified, we each followed a non-christian belief. this began on beltane and lasted for three days before all of us were released on the same day, under the same circumctances, somewhere someone had lost something vital to the cases. not a single one of the "faithful" were released that day, and many, if not most, of those remaining had new problems arise. yes, i believe a large portion simply paid lip service to their faith, but why were us unrepentant "pagans" the ones freed that day and the "faithful"
punished?

if people hear us saying things like ''apostates should be stoned or beheaded'' then they have every right to hate us and think we're evil ? How can Muslims complain about ''discrimination'' when many Muslims have such crazy ideas like beheading converts to other religions. Don't you realize that this doesn't help Islam in any way, if someone wants to leave islam then good for them who cares, for every person that leaves a 100 others convert to islam, are Muslims so paranoid that they can't take it when someone disagrees with them? Sorry if this seems harsh but it's just unimaginable how many Muslims believe in these barbaric things, I am stunned at this myself... it's no wonder people hate Muslims.

Chocolates are discarded just because they are mis-shapes. Do people really care what shape they are? Why aren't they being sold as mis-shapes? Or given away? Anything rather than waste valuable food resources as fuel? Corn, too, is being used as fuel while people are going hungry.

I'm just wondering. It might be a stupid question, but I'm curious. Right now I'm trying to live a so-called "spiritual" life. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about it by reading spiritual books and googling it on the internet. I think it would be so nice to attain inner peace & true happiness. I learned about how the Buddha and other spiritual gurus attained enlightenment and just can't help wanting it also. How many of you feel the same way?

Do you know the difference between a theory and fact? I will help you to understand? GRAVITY is a FACT! There are many THEORIES as to the CAUSES of GRAVITY. No one disputes gravity as a fact, but there are dusputes amoung theorists as to what causes gravity. They are theories because they are unproven. Unlike the evolutionary theory, the theories concerning the causes of gravity are based on observing the FACT of gravity, and other PROVEN FACTS in. These THEORIES follow the scientific method. (for theose who do not know the scientific method is to Collect data, the theorize, then test your theory.) The theories concerning the causes of gravity are theories because they have not been proven as fact. The evolutionary theory breaks from scientific method by placing theory before collecting data which ultimately leads to the corruption of the data collected. Unfortunitely this ignorance of the scientific method and the difference between Fact and Theory has people confused between the Two.

If God really does exist, and if he is a god of love. Then why did he even create humans so that they could become evil if they chose to do so? If he's a good of love, then wickedness, hatred, evilness, and all such bad things should not even have existed. Then the serpent (satan) would not have induced eve to eat the fruit, and Eve wouldn't have sinned, and cursed the entire Human race...

So why did he create evil in the first place?

Or why don't us Monotheists do it?
You know, like maybe move to our own part of the planet so that we could live in harmony until The Day of Judgement?

Skip answers that go on longer than say, the height of your monitor? I've noticed a growing trend of these, and every few paragraphs there's often a chapter and verse citation.

Personally, I think it's like resumes. People are looking for succinct, pertinent information, not someone's life story most of the time.

I need to get my parents a present each for Christmas and I have no idea what to get them. Its been a really hard year for me and they've helped me through loads so I don't want to get them a packet of socks each.

I'm only 15 so I have hardly no money, lol. Something thoughtful would be great, I just need some ideas.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated, thank you..

My first sexual thoughts since i remember where directed at women, growing up as a catholic and finding out how sex works made me gradually interested in straight sex as i saw it as the norm. later started having male gay friends and just because i liked women decided to say that i am bisexual ( never went beyond kissing). there ware times when i longed for a close female friend but my ideal partner i thought would be male/ i have a bf since 5 years and sexualy it is no great, but i don't know whose fault it is. Started to feel that actually i really get annoyed at male rigidity/strong will and long for female closeness and softess. in my social circle i am confronted with traditional heterosexual lifestyles which i hate. (mid.-class mariage ideal etc.cr4p). Said to my bf "i am gay" (or more something in me said it), cut my hair very short.;a kind of comming out is happenig without me actually choosing to do it, as i am not sure yet, its just that i cannot accept the straight lifestyle
