Are the secular countries to blame?

islam is a religion that inhabits a place, historically these places lived with other religions very well indeed.

I don't know - but i am so sick to death of people branding the Qu'ran a "violent" text - whatever - the Qu'ran states itself to take the best possible meaning. "Those who listen to the word, And follow The best (meaning) in it: Those are the ones Whom God has guided..." (39:18)
Any text can be read violently any text can be read peacefully - pre -9/11 western society weren't branding Islam and Muhammad the root cause of terrorism - why? Because times change, people change, circumstances change! Yes! There are bad Muslims - Yes these bad Muslims are terrorists and should be brought to justice for the terrible atrocities committed against innocent victims, but, why should these idiots be able to justify their crimes by using misinterpreted extracts from the Qu'ran? And why should i as a Muslim woman stand by and let them? I don't believe that the Qu'ran is violent - why? because i am not violent - i am a Muslim convert, living in the UK, surrounded by non-muslim family and friends - People that i love!

It's politics. And it's homemade. Just imagine
a U.S. or Europe that would be controlled by
radical theocrats. It would be a nightmare to
live there and it would be a nightmare for the
rest of the world. Religion an politics is a very
dangerous mixture. If you mix it you can bet
your sorry *** that it's going to blow up big
time. Power based on religion is absolute
power for the followers and those who have
the misfortune to live there without being a
follower of whatever religion is in charge.
Secular countries prevent this to happen.
And that is the only reason why the world
isn't a living hell in total.

Islam was invented by a war lord . Killing and slaughter were his whole life . He encouraged , no he demanded his followers to kill anyone who would not follow his orders. This is built into Muslim thinking . The answer to everything is KILL . Preach peace , but kill those who oppose you .
Blame secular countries ? Certainly blame everybody and anybody except yourself .
Islam will get the respect it deserves , when it earns that respect . When it joins the world . When it gets its mind out of the Medieval days . When women have the same rights as men . When people stop thinking of themselves as members of a tribe - - - but a nation .
They have a long way to go . Talking peace , or writing it in a book , does not make Islam peaceful .

Well Muslims I know have little to do with what I am told by the media. I am not fearful of them I don't worry if they respect me or not, because they do. I can easily communicate with them and they with me.
I don't however think it's just secular countries to blame. I think it's both. I think it's about power and domination. Fear of the loss of domination and want of domination.
Fear and Want then.

Islam is certainly not a religion of peace.
Have you read the qu'ran?Check out a few choice quotes from the many translations available on the net.
Be prepared to have your eyes opened.
Islam is a religion of violence and oppression.Its medieval methods are considered evil by anyone who dare say so.If the muslism dont get you then the liberals will.

The only peaceful time of islam was at the beginning and that wasn't working so Muhammad changed things. islam has always blamed everything, but itself.

number one--Islam is a religion of peace, not a place of peace...
number 2: many muslims now bring unislamic innovations to our beautiful religion that makes it seem so ugly; the media takes this to their advantage;
its just mostly because muslims are not looking into their true religion from the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet peace be upon him; if they did, the days of peace would eventually return.
the infidels are never to blame, yes, sometimes they do fabricate weird things, but its not all their fault/
